Hi Everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all moms out there! I stayed home today with my son and spent time with him. For me there is nothing more celebrating than having him by my side. I enjoyed my day and very grateful to have friends and families that greeted me today and wishes me gokd things! being a mom is such a rewarding task and for me its the best feeling in the world knowing there is someone you are raising and being a mother to a child. How about you? Tell me about your experience as a mom and how did you celebrate this day?

I went to visit my mom on Saturday. I gave her gifts to her and visited for a while... then she came over on sunday and I cooked her some taco salad to take home and eat.

We started the day by going to Church together as a family. Then surprising our mom with a bouquet of roses right after Mass. Then buying ourselves about a gallon of ice cream and cones. We had a party in the previous night celebrating my brother's birthday, so yesterday (Mother's Day) was just a day to relax and perhaps just be together. The day went well and it was just relaxing.

Well, my Mom has been gone now for 3 1/2 yrs. now, and I am not a Mom so Mother's Day for me is always now a downer. I had a horrible Migraine yesterday and still have a little bit of one today. I did spend a little bit of the afternoon relaxing with my husband and enjoying time with him, but also spent some of the day sleeping trying to get my headache to leave as well.

Aww. that is sad. I am sure it could have been different if your mom was still here. But it's okay as long as you remember her on that day.

I am very shy at home and don't usually greet my mom when its her bday or its mothers day. I don't know its not that I dont want to say it, but Im always holding back. Anyways, I greeted her though, in a way of a joke. Since it's raining here in manila. We just spent the day here and watched tv together with the rest of the family. We actually watched mosley-pacman. :D

Hi there! Nice to hear from you. I am from the Philippines as well, we had rains today also but not that much as ive heard in Manila. We stay here in Iloilo. Well, I know that even if you did not tell your mum how much you love her, I know she felt it in her. Thank you for your response! Be safe during this weather!

Hi shynie, I forgot all about it. I was so busy with the Pacquiao fight being on the technical team that prepares the big screen live show on our town. I left home at six in the morning and had to stay all day on site to monitor the equipments making sure the live feed video from half a world away don't get off the screen for even a few seconds. All went well and by the time the day is done and all the precious equipments stowed away, I barely have enough strength to crawl to bed and go to sleep. My wife, a mother of two kids stayed up alone till 11:00 PM playing plants vs. zombies on my PC all alone. Happy Mother's Day just the same.

Awww, that's sad. But did you even greet her like the next day? It would be special for her if you did. Sometimes little things like that really matter to us. But anyway, I know it doesn't need any occasion to let her know you appreciate her in anyway.

I love my mother very much. I wrote a poem for my mother, and then bought her good sweets. I also tried not to fight with my little brother for the day so she could relax. Happy Mother's Day to you

today is a special day for everyone. we are all here because one person nurtured us for nine months and took care of us while we were so young and helpless to go about this world. our mothers made it happen for us to be whoever we are today. and i made my mom know that. i called her over the phone to express my lifetime gratitude to her.
