Have you ever been able to say "I'M SO HAPPY I COULD DIE THIS VERY INSTANCE!!!"

I've heard of this line in several movies: "I'm so happy I could die this very instance!!" I was just wondering if there was actually someone in the world who really said that while they were young and healthy. If somebody said that he must have been really glad! I haven't felt such a level of happiness my entire life! How about you guys? Have you ever been able to say that line?

I haven't said that before. But I have, for many times, said that "I am so mad I could kill a person" or "I am so frustrated / sad I wanna die". Maybe I wasn't that of a jolly person after all, hehe.

Funny how a scary line can actually be used as if it were hilarious. I have not used that one but remember saying something like it is so funny, it is to die for. But of course I meant it in a hilarious way and not by any malice at all.

Yes. I have said that a few times in my life. I wish there were more time that I was happy enough to say it but it just does not happen.

Nope....I would never say anything like that and can't imagine anyone would! I have also heard the term....great enough to die for.....the only thing I could ever see dying for was my family or my country!

HI Vesuvius! This sounds ironical that somebody who would be happy would want to die! I have been able to say (and heard many others say) that we are frustrated enough that we want to die this very instance! Perhaps nobody is that content with life that they would like to die that very moment.
