Satan the Lion, Jesus the Lamb; And the One Will Lay Down with the Other Now?

So why are people so afraid of Satan & Satanism? (satanophobes, just like I'm a homophobe ... afraid we'll like it too much ) Is that prophecy that says Satan is a follower of Christ? Shouldn't we welcome Satan in with loving arms?

For one, "the lion will lay down with the lamb" is not actually in the Bible. It's a painfully common misquote of Isaiah 11:6 which reads, "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb. The leopard shall lie down with the young goat. The calf and the young lion and the fatling together..." I think fear of Satan and Satanism is warranted, and I don't quite understand why you need to ask why. Satan is the original entity of evil, the first to fall, the one who pushes all others to fall, the tempter, the father of lies, etc. According to Revelation 20:10 ("And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.") Satan is ultimately sentenced beyond all hope of redemption. I think that's considerably more solid than some stretched symbolic prophecy based on a misquote.

.... I can't tell whether you're a Christian, an Atheist, in-between, or someone totally off the chart who delights in messing with people. So why is it that you want to theorize that Satan can be saved, redeemed, embraced...? What's your basis for asking this question (other than your stretched symbolic theory based on a misquote)? I believe the Bible is pretty clear... Satan screwed up and has since spent the latter half of eternity bringing everyone he can down with him, and for that he ultimately is going to pay. He has no hope of redemption. Christ's sacrifice wasn't for him.

"Hell ... Hell is for Children" We are also beyond all hope of redemption. Oh, God can save us; but not in any way we will ever know. 'Salvation by Jesus' (sounds like a fragrance-line) is the only safe way to distract ourselves from the oncoming oblivion

Where does it say that Lucifer became Satan? In the Kingdom of Heaven, Satan does not exist ... not even 'outside of Heaven' (because then there will be no "outside of Heaven"), but NOT AT ALL (whether Satan was re-made into Lucifer (dare you say that God CAN'T do this?) or he is destroyed in the brief rain of hellfire). NOT EVER! NOT BEFORE! NOT AFTER! NOT NOW! Kinda like Rory in that one episode of DOCTOR WHO.

forgive me dear for i will express my belief. my answer to your last question would be ABSOLUTELY NO. Satan had been known to be a the father of lies. even himself had been deceived by his own lies and he is not a follower of Jesus Christ. Now, if you believe in the bible and story of adam and eve, well, you should know that is the devil or satan who had deceived them to pursue knowledge by eating the fruit in the tree of knowledge of good and evil, although it might be figurative. By that, adam and eve were then banished from the paradise and started to toil to have something to eat - and continually, this is why we have to work to earn a living. satan is the antagonist. satan is a rebel. people must not be afraid of satan if they have God in their side because the Lord God who made the heavens and the earth, who is powerful above all is able to protect us from evil if we allow Him to become the Lord and Savior of our lives...

Why not let him become Lucifer again, trusting Lucifer to stay away from pride this time?

Satan or Lucifer had chosen the path of pride already and his decision was never change until this time for he also wants to be above like God. God knows what is inside the heart of each creature, may it be angels or humans. God has given them freedom to choose the right path or the path of destruction. All those angels who followed lucifer in the ancient times had the same heart. They had become disloyal to God. If you ask why they were not given chance as we have, it is because they have already meet the Lord face-to-face and still have rebelled. We humans however are given by God a faith to walk by. And remember God already knows before the beginning of time who are those that will believe in Him and who are those that would despise Him.

satan - is another angel that doesn't give a damn.
Hello mythociate, I don't know, and such proposal is extremely dangerous in my perspective. but some said that satanism isn't about worshipping satan at all, it's like another kind of religion specifying independence and control among yourself. i forgot details about it, though it's like a good theraphy or something but i don't think i want to risk it since i was raised christian. embracing satanism could bring a negative impact to my family. . satan chose to hate, and God attest to that.

Satanism is Christianity's shadow ... who would care about satanism if Christianity didn't mention it? If satanism didn't rule the world, restaurants wouldn't demand payment---they'd do more than well enough on donations alone! The cash-register is the modern altar.

Beware of this kind of proposal. Do not be deceive. Satan covers humanity from the truth. He reverse all the words of God to deceive people and that we accept him. He is not the real roaring lion, he just act "AS" a roaring lion because Jesus is the REAL lion. He is the "lion of Judah". Anti-Christ will try to destroy God's saints by speaking sincerely and passionate but he lies to persuade people slowly turning back from the right path. just like what happened in the Garden where the evil said to Eve that when she eats of the fruit, she will become God. And the woman was deceived.

Maybe that's the secret reason behind God saying "it is not good for the man to be alone": because--left alone (like me) for too long--he becomes convinced that he himself is God. I simply do 'as I see The Father do before me' (or 'as Jesus tells the Holy Spirit to tell me The Father does before Him' ).
