Is it possible to change mylot username?

Dear Friends,
I know most of the things of mylot but still I am unable to understand one think. Today when I opened my account information I have seen I can change my First and last name but username box is not active. So I want to know change my user name it is possible.
Today my one student was asking me madam your all username like gmail,rediff and mylot, mturk etc. is same I say yes but now I am worry because he knows hacking. Now these days my all accounts is lost like mturk, triond, facebook so I want to safe my mylot account tell your views if you know about this.

Well you can't do that
i too have the same user name in all the sites that i join but i don't ever use the same password
just use different passwords in all the site you join

Yes friend you are right username may be some for different site but password should not be same its good suggestion thanks for this.

Sad to say, it can't be done. Me too had tried it and found not possible. Almost got the same advices, cancel the account and start a new one.
Well, until now, I did not tried closing my account. I decided to continue my current account. Happy mylotting.

There is a way that you can change your user name. However, you can't change your user name and keep the same account that you have right now. The only way that you can change your user name is to start a new account. I know that there are some members that do this from time to time. As for me, I'm happy with the user name that I have right now and I will be maintaining it for quite some time, unless I am forced to change it.

I have read the instructions and guide lines of the my lot on profile editing thoroughly. But i have found no such answer to change the username in the my lot. Really if the My lot admin has to put a chance to change the username. then it will be a good option.

You need to change your PASSWORDS (and have a different, strong password for each account). The username is not important.

No, I guess you can not change your username.I don't know if what you said we can change first and last name in our profile.The best thing to do is change your password and think of another which you thought others can not guess, make it strong.You can use the same username in other site too but make sure you use different strong password.The other way is to close your account and register a new username.I hope this helps...

If you have a strong password, one that would be very difficult or impossible for others to figure out, you need not worry about having the same username on different accounts.
Many people use the same username on different websites without a problem, i do as well. So worrrying about changing your username is not really necessary.

No, I don't think so. I have been trying to change mylot username for awhile and I can't do it. I'm stuck with this username.
