Making Friends All Over the World

The internet is awesome because it has gotten rid of all of the borders that people used to have. Now you can talk to someone over in Indonesia while your watching tv in Nebraska, it's amazing. Most places are just for chatting, but thats what I love about OverSeasPals. I can just chat with people if I want to, but I can also learn about different cultures and make real friends and that is pretty amazing. OverSeasPals has taken the social part of facebook and the openness of twitter and combined it. I love it, I love having friends in Brazil, Zimbabwe, Australia, China, and many other countries, its awesome and I highly recommend it.

I agree the the internet is awesome. But I'm not enough of a social butterfly to want to talk to people all over the world.

A "social butterfly" :))), funny, although this is what you'll probably experience on mylot, a lot of different people's ideas.

Yeah it is awesome, you can now meet a lot of different people without having to go to their countrys or having them over :))). Usually when I'm travelling I meet people and I talk with them just to know them, to try and understand a little bit of their perspective on life and things in general. You gain a lot!

Dear friend,
There is no doubt inter is really something benefited to the world. But I feel it should be available free all over world. Moreover it could make people use it and all people will have the opportunity to handle this wonderful technology. I feel it do has beneficiary things that you had quoted.

When I was young, there was no internet to speak of. But that didn't stop me from making friends all over the world. There was a service in school back then that for a fee, they could give you names and addresses of like-minded kids from different countries. Thus I made friends with kids from Germany, Finland, Indonesia, etc.
Today's internet and social networking sites just makes it easier.

I totally agree with you about the benefits of the internet. It is lovely to chat to and learn about people from all parts of the world. It makes me feel like a real World Citizen. We are far more alike than we first believe, and it is only when we learn about other cultures that we become more compassionate, understanding, and ultimately, more loving towards one another.

I Agree with you. but the more important to remember namely there are a lot of dangerous on internet.
