I don't know how well can you install the burglar alarm system yourself, but it seems one way to reduce the cost of it. A friend of mine actually self - install his alarm system, the equipment include sensors and other stuff. You simply have to follow the instructions to install them. The monitoring service might cost around $14.99 per month. That sounds pretty cool right? But first thing first, if you call for an alarm service, be sure to ask whether they require contract or not. If yes, it is safe to hang up. Would you consider get one of those self - install alarm system?

I have a very simple alarm service, it is not a month by month plan but one I purchased outright. What is really cool about it, if one has a landline phone, the alarm will call up to 5 selected numbers when it goes off. I like that feature, though I do not have a landline so I don't use it. It is from Mace. It is very loud too!

hi kingparker, Yes, I would consider getting a burglar alarm system at DIY price. But, I don't think they have any over here. Where did you get it? Is the installation complex?
