It is most common notification mail from mylot to the user. When any discussion is deleted then a Notification from myLot is sent to every user who post the discussion and who respond in that discussion. It's common............. But some time we really surprised with deletion of discussions. Most of the discussions deleted by admin are undoubtedly worthy for deletion. But all discussion deleted are really unquestionable? Have every any question comes to your mind after deletion of any discussion. Have you ever feel that any discussion that deleted are not worthy for deletion. Why this discussion is deleted?....... have ever such question comes to your mind? Or you just consulate yourselves that as admin delete so there must be something wrong. But I some time face such question in my mind why this discussion is deleted? I am not complaining on anything but some time I feel that some discussion are wrongly deleted by admin. I feel so...... Is it an offence to express the feeling?

Yeah I often wondering what was against the rules that it was deleted, cause I thought I know the rules by now to respond only to the discussion that I thought was safe. Sometimes I responded to a discussion of a friend who would likely to get deleted, but I know that. It was just sparked my interest to respond no matter that it will get deleted.

I think I have a good grasp of what it takes for a discussion to be deleted. So I try to avoid them. But once in a while, a deleted discussion still surprises me because I didn't think it'll be deleted in the first place. It's just unfortunate that some users can't seem to follow the guidelines.

I agree with you......that some users can't seem to follow the guidelines. But some of such discussions which are deleted doesn't seems to occurs any violation in its outlook. It just surprise us and we just can say that those are just unfortunate.

I usually can guess why a discussion was deleted and try to avoid those that are or probably will violate guidelines. But sometimes I'm confused and wish myLot would state the reason. For instance, I replied to a discussion about age a few days ago and was just notified it was deleted. I can't for the life of me figure out why unless someone posted a referral link or something. I would like them to list the reason for deletion--it would satisfy my curiosity and also probably teach me something about the rules. For sure it would teach newbies things they didn't know or forgot.

N.B. We should be ready to get the notification mail for participating this discussion. May be this discussion come under violation because this is a question on deletion. But I politely want to state that I have no intention behind. This is a discussion on the question arise in mind after some discussion deleted. Every deletion is not unquestionable. Some deletion bring question to the mind. And I just humbly want to know from my fellow myloter that have they face such question in mind after deletion of some discussion. .... a discussion about age a few days ago and was just notified it was deleted... Is really creates the question mark in my mind.

You bet I've questioned the decision to delete discussions. One was my own and the reason given was "plagiarism." Now, as someone who had her first poem published (for pay) in 1969 and my first short story (published/pay) in 1970, I have never condoned plagiarism by anyone. What gets my goat is that the site will not respond when they're wrong.

It is a vivid question. It is very hard to figure out plagiarism. Some time the original author are also convicted with plagiarism.
