Is it so that to serve the suffering humanity is to serve the God?

To serve the suffering humanity is to serve the God. We all know it, some also believe it but how many follow it in our real life? Can you explain what the reason is behind such a failure in case of those who believe in it?

Are you saying that the way to relieve suffering is to serve God or are you saying that serving God causes suffering?

No, it means that if you serve those who are suffering from poverty or anything else, you are serving God.

Oh I see. Haha Going back and reading it now it's obvious. I was tired. Well I think that is true, though the definition of God will differ with different people. Unfortunately, a lot of religious people just judge others instead of helping them. There's a lot of fear and malice in the world. It's because we always feel a need to be in control of everything. We need to realize that we have to accept the world before we can change it.

Alot of people are hypocrits. They say they believe in one thing and do something else. And there are still others that are selfish and self involved and take no time to help others. I think that some people say they believe and dont really. They go the easy route. It is rather sad.

I think people fail to serve others because they do not realize it is serving God and also people are so focused on themselves, what they don't have, why should they help others, etc. I sometimes feel very badly when I see musicians on the street playing beautiful music that people clearly enjoy, yet they walk past them and don't even put as much as a nickel on their baskets, but then will go and buy $3.00 ice cream cones or expensive meals for themselves and their families and then they load up in their nice air cars and drive off. I always say it does not take a lot to help, just a genuine desire to be part of the solution. There are so many privately owned resources going to waste that could be used to help people. I think God would love to see a lot more of us helping each other to minimize suffering.

Hello, any service to a poor, elder one, disable one is like serve to God. The reason behind failure is our life style. In these day every one is so much busy and he don't want to do any thing other than earning. Our education system is also responsible for it.

Someone asks you a bit far away from love. Her name was suffering, her hair is long and blonde for passionate embraces, hands white as angel and eyes beg dreams Boulevard predestined complaint. She taught in the same spirit with you, sinner. But .. not a search. I'll do bad, you get into the abyss of depression, demanding pills against sadness. Let not the one you are looking for .. It will be too late and you will seal heart, and every "love" you'd enter like a dagger through the deepest corners. Pain will start bleeding. And open-heart surgery will be in vain, it's too strong. The ingredients are mixed with less pain-handkerchiefs stifled tears. For thousands of years is looking for remedies. And only you can find it every time, and always keep it for you.

Hi DoctorDidi, Most people probably know this to be true but it isn't the way that most religious people think. Many place the greater emphasis on attending prayer services and other observances. Some fundamentalist Christians consider accepting Christ as their Saviour to be all that's necessary in order to get to heaven, and that seems to be all that matters to them. Others feel that you must belong to a certain sect, and membership itself guarantees one's salvation. I agree with you one hundred percent that to serve humanity is to serve God and I feel that nothing else matters. It is much easier however to believe that all you have to do is profess something and God takes care of everything. Blessings.
