The Rewards from the Searches, just wondering...

Is this some kind of lottery? I am using the searches now and then and have been rewarded only a couple of times.
What kind of searches pay? When did myLot start this rewarding? I am a bit confused about this and wonder if I should use this search or not..??

Hi Buenavida,
I'm not really sure just how it works. I have used the search bar and I have never been rewarded for it. I've heard some say that they do get rewarded. I'm guessing that you have to use it a lot more than I do in order to get that but I'm not sure on that.

I have no idea how much we should use the search to be paid, it has been a long time between the two payments I´ve got..
The important thing is that we use it as a normal search on any other search engine, as the FAQ warn about abusing it just for earning.
Don´t worry, you will be rewarded sooner or later, but I don´t know how they count the whole thing and when we get payment..

Thanks Buenavida! I actually probably just don't use it often enough and when I do use it , it is only for discussion topics. For the longest time, it did not work at all for me and that could have been the browser I was using...not sure. Anyway, when I'm on mylot I just don't think to search for other things.

How do you know if you are rewarded? I mean don you just check your earnings in the mornings or does a pop up or alert come up?
Oh and I agree about Swagbucks. I get one paypal gift card after another!

Yup, I got a pop up box - this time I got 15 cent, so it adds up if it comes now and then..

I knew the search box was here, but I didn't realize that they paid us to use it. I might have to start using it daily to see if my earnings will increase any. I need all the money I can get right now.

Hi, Carol You can try, but please read the FAQ about it. The searches have to be like the ones we do in other search engines - maybe that means valid ones, so that we let the pages load and I guess it is abuse of the sýstem if we do it just for earning and too often..??

ive used it a couple times and you dont always get anything from it. in fact i never have. why i use my swagbucks account because i get points there that add up to amazon stuff. i now have 15 bucks so far in amazon and lots of people have more. so, i use swagbucks search do you know about it? i could send you a link if you want to try. let me know. @buenavida (9985)

Hi, bunny that is a good way to use searches - but I think it works best in the USA - and as I live in Sweden I am not sure.. I´ll let you know if I want to start earning Amazon stuff, who knows where I live next year or so..

Only the people who are lucky enough will win the awards, there's luck and many things behind that. everyone should be happyt if they win. But for some one greatly unlucky like me who doesn't have won even a single cent in his life are preety sure that this is not worth it. okke

Hi, Ashu and welcome to myLot. As far as I understand, this seems be more a skill we learn than luck. Everyone can learn to make valid searches, so why not try with something you would search anyway?
I don´t like lotteries and such things, but if it comes to learn something and work for it, there is a chance we can all get rewards!

I use it until it says I´m doing suspicious activity. Then I use another. It pays a few cents sometimes but it´s just random so I don´t count on that money. I have had more luch with it when I check th web and discussions with the same word.

Yes I think it is good that mylot give us reward if we use their searching features. I think it is a types of bonus for us because if we doing daily good discussions and responses then we can get some good bonus by using their searching features. I think mylot is one of the best sites ever I have seen. So I always working on this site and I like its features very much.

I like myLot too, as I am learning a lot all the time and can contribute with what I know, and in some cases really help someone with what they need..
