Hello Mylot .... Hope you don't bite lol!!!

Well here I am... Not really sure what to write now! Typical... always got so much to say until it counts!!
Well there's been some real changes in my life lately and my doctor has told me I need to find an outlet for all my "pent up emotion" and as I'm not big on therapists she suggested perhaps an anonymous blog or something similar. And that is how I found this site. Sounds perfect... in theory ... I get to sit and hide behind my computer whilst getting out all the little niggles and prevent another breakdown! And the icing on the cake is that I get paid for doing it?????!!! Sounds too good to be true!
Well I wonder how many people will actually be reading this.... I wonder how many of you reading this actually know me, but don't realise you know me?!
The internet never fails to amaze me ... you can be who you want to be rather than who you actually are .... but unfortunately for anyone that actually feels compelled to read my posts ... you are stuck with the real me that people away from the internet probably never see!!
Well enough of my ramblings for the moment... the washing machine has stopped and needs emptying and refilling (yet again!) ... where does it all come from??!!!

It sounds too good to be true but it is real.
MyLot is like the real world, only that you don't see faces and you don't hear real names. But here you'll find all the emotions you meet in the real life: friendship and enmity, love and hatred, happyness and sorrow, kindness and malice. It's up to you to choose and participate to the discussions that make you feel better.
As for the washing machine, take your time (but make sure you'll be back to the discussion you started to comment the responses). We'll be here after an hour, too. If not, we'll answer you later, when we have the time. (for instance, I'm at work now, so I'll have to end this message because my boss has called me.

People here rarely give their real names but they often display their real emotions and opinions. Is that 'hiding' or is it actually being 'real'? We stand or fall by what others think of us, so it doesn't matter whether you hide your real name or not. What people see here is how genuine you are.

Why would we bite? I have been here for a year and have seen most members give a warm welcome to all New Members. Therefore a warm welcome to you.
myLot certainly is a great site to visit routinely as you will be able to have fun discussing day to day topics and issues.

We all do our share of rambling about things in our life and things we observe along the way.
As for the laundry I have no idea other than if you have kids you are constantly doing wash for one reason or another. Gets old quick.

Mine is a never ending search for socks! Never have enough socks no matter how many packages I buy when school starts. The never ending search for pants for my oldest as she keeps ripping holes in the knees lately...

So much talk but not a single niggle except that your washing machine has stopped. Never mind. It takes time to open up really. Do finish your chore and then get back. myLot is there for you to lighten your burden if any.

Oh yes I can talk/type all day... but ask me later what I actually said and usually the answer is "very little" lol. The whole idea of unburdening myself online is a very new concept to me, but then again doing it in real life is also just as alien a concept. So far everyone seems very friendly and I'm sure if nothing else I will find this site as a wonderful way to while away some free time!!

It's quite frustrating joining a new site, especially one with so many members as most of the names you can think of are already taken. Then when it gives you suggestions as to what you could have, you're left thinking "how the hell do i remember that??!!".
