I just saw the news about Malinda dee. Malinda needed to have surgery because her breasts exposed to infection. I was very surprised, that the operation will be financed by the government. I really wonder, why the government should finance the operations of Malinda? Is not Malinda is a criminal! suspected cases of money laundering and criminal banking. While there are many poor people, who need health care costs, many of which are passed by the government.

hi indahfth that is indeed sad that your government will bend over backwards for someone like this Malinda Dee and help her and let many ooor people do without health care. Wherever you are, I agree this is unfair and wrong. Governments of countries should provide decent medical care for their poor people first then if theres money left over maybe help a wealthy person though I would frown o that myself.

yes, you are correct. The government got a lot of protest because of this. Because many of the protests, and news that oppose the government, the government issued a statement, that the operation Malinda funded use Malinda own insurance, not government funded.

Hi indahfth I do not know who she is but only can say that some people are lucky to get government assitance. Though it is so unfair to the poor, elderly and sick who certainly need insurance coverage. Just seems that the governments priorities not not right. I can only say that maybe the infection is really bad, but then are the very sick too and never get a single free hand out and or assistance of any kind.

I don't know what it is like in Indonesia, so I am not speaking about them in general, but it is this way here in US also. I do not feel it is right, but since it is part of the government don't know what we can do. Outside of educating ourselves better in politics so that when WE here can vote we make better choices. Though it is not totally our wrong choices as many once they make it to government change and or become corrupt too.

It is sad but true that those in prison frequently get better health care than those on the outside. They can also get an education while incarsinated if they choose. I view that as both good and bad, but that's another story.

It seems that there has been some miscommunication. I was talking about the U.S. and you were thinking about Indonesia.

Although Malinda Dee is a criminal, but she also very famous with the media and public. If the government let Malinda suffer like that without giving her the proper medication, it will be a huge controversial. People will start blaming the government because they let her suffer too much ( and they might even using human right as their weapon ). Letting her die will certainly make government loose faces than help her. Anyway, that is what i think. I know Melinda dee deserve it, but to let her die, it is a pity. Anyway, if she still sick, the proses of her case will halt, and it might be hard to recover the rest of the money ( if they are still exist ).

Yes. You are right the possibility it could happen. but, the people would be protesting the government's actions, if Malinda dee fund operations, using state money.
