All species of life subscribe to atheism in their natural course of origin and survival. It is only humanity manipulated by some cunning persons created a phantom of God and divided itself into various religions. Let us come back to our original philosophy of atheism.

Prove to me that my cat is an atheist and I'll consider it. Since she can't speak in any language you understand and you're not a mind-reader (as far as I know), there's no way for you to prove that she isn't a Jehovah's Witness, a Buddhist or anything else.

Precisely, since the thrust of your original argument was that all species are atheist and only humans created a god.

Conversely, you must prove that your cat is a theist. That is more logical.

I'm not the one trying to prove anything. I'm simply asking for proof to support the original argument.

You must be God to know so exactly how other species of life think. Tell me, please, how do you talk with them to know so well what thy think? I will not refute your sentece as I´m sure you can fundament what you are saying. But that, also, is a hidden knowledge, as you did not deign place it in this pst. Have a good day.

Even though I´m not a believer, and the trascendental is something that I just don´t understand, I don´t think that human intellect has such godly capacities like being capable of knowing everything. I agree that we are responsible for many things, each one according to our capacities. But as not every human being has the same capacity (be it intellectual or emotional): there are many or us that need some guidance. Unforfunatly, guides are not always the best because power and money are great corruptors. Still, I only speak for myself and if I want to extend it to the utmost, I´ll speak for us, mankind. But who knows if the intelligent ant or dolphin have their own deities and ways to understand the world? And, who knows whay happens beyond, in far gallaxies or even byond that, beyond what now scientists call the end of the Universe?

Do we need to depend on imaginations instead of using our best possible resources and have faith on them. And, for sure, this resource is human intellect. We need not to go beyond that.

Not God, but logical strength of human intellect is capable of knowing everything. So the humanity possessing the most developed intellect of all the species of life on earth has a responsibility to be on the right path free from distortions imposed on it by some vested interests.

I'd ask my dog if he's an atheist, too - but he's too busy licking his butt to answer. Really, though, animal's minds aren't complex enough to understand anything outside of their own senses and instincts. I wouldn't brag about having the same world view as the rest of the animal kingdom.

This is a very biased argument, so I don't support it. This type of argument is no different than saying that God is real because of the Bible. Angry and doesn't prove anything. I think all religions, spiritual beliefs, or even the lack thereof should be respected. I agree that organized religion is the result of indoctrination rather than an innate belief, but I think your claim that our original philosophy is atheism really depends on your definition of atheism. More often than not, atheism is now used to describe not only one who does not believe in a god or deity, but also one who is not spiritual or believing in "woo" in any way, which is certainly something I disagree with. Long before religion was used as a means of control, people were spiritual. This was true long all around the globe long before technology globalized ideas. So I believe that our natural state is spiritual. Religion is just a type of spiritual path. Therefore, I do not believe that it goes against our natural state at all.

Surely, many religions were doctored much before the concept of spirituality, to cover all those remaining uncovered by religions. It is a comparatively new concept, having no roots in the ancient past. This itself is a fraudulent psychological game on humanity that works through auto suggestions.

Maybe. Most of the ancient religions were based on astrology and other natural forces. Religions evolved and changed dramatically into something completely different, often separate from nature, so I am not sure if I can really consider them the same thing. I would guess that it also depends on how you define spirituality. People used to be spiritual in their religions, but it seems that that concept of being connected to the earth and whats within ourselves is being pushed aside too often these days. I would say that animals are very spiritual, aware of and connected to their self beyond the physical, but I don't think any of them are religious. I believe that religions are organized ways of explaining and practicing spirituality.

I think that science and religion has their own places in this world and we should just let them be. I think that it will just be a waste of time arguing about these things. I think that since we or someone thought about it then there must be some truth to it. I think I will be better having this outlook of these two matters with me.

You are free to have your own outlook on the matter. But what I need to discuss is the universal outlook on the subject, validity of theism and its harming the humanity through opposition to scientific outlook, which is the only reason of humans getting civilized.

This is a world of tradition. a question so complicated like this would be better left to God to worry about.

If God were there, I would have left the subject to him.
