Women...How much makeup do you wear in a year?

I rarely wear makeup, maybe twice a month when we go out to somewhere nice. It was interesting I guess..weird too. But they said 7 bottles of foundation. There is no way I use that much a year because I don't wear make up everyday. So it got me curious, how much makeup do you buy and use in a year?
I prob buy 3 foundations, because they get old not because I use them. A few eye shadows, a few things of mascara and lots of lip glosses. What about you?

hi there. i like make ups and i like watching all these make up tutorials on youtube. but i dont wear a lot of make up. when i go out i just apply some powder, (pressed powder), then i love lipsticks but i use light shades. but maybe i can only consume 2-3 compact pressed powder a year because i hardly go out and when i go to malls sometimes and do grocery shopping, i don't wear make up, but yeah as long as i have my powder to not look oily and lipstick to not look too pale hhehehehe.

I am the same and maybe a little mascara if I am tired to sort of open up my eyes..or a light shadow. I don't know how anyone could use 7 things of foundation a year wow.

hehehe those girls are probably those who would go out everyday like work in an office and just want's to look more beautiful and presentable 
another reason why i don't make that much make up is that i wanna let my pores breathe hehehe because i get break outs from to time and i hate it so much 
what i cant take are the scars :( but yeah maybe if i was also working in like an office or a bog establishment and just wanna look beautiful, maybe i will wear make up too everyday and probably also use about that same amount or number of foundation bottles every year. but wow that would just cost a lot, my earnings on mylot won't be enough haahhahaa

I rarely ever buy loads of different foundations anymore. I'm happy with the ones I have and usually just repurchase those. It usually takes me at least a year to finish a foundation bottle. I'm the kind of person who wears makeup a lot, I'll usually wear it nearly every day or whenever I'm going to be leaving my house as I don't have the best skin in the world.
As for other types of makeup such as blushers and lipsticks and all that good stuff, although I don't finish them that quick I do usually buy them quite often so I have a larger variety of colours. And there's always new makeup products coming out.

How you make you do that? I wear make up a lot too, everday and sometimes I use foundation more than one time during the day. But, my bottle of liquid foundation ends in 2 months, 3 months maximum. And I really don't wear a big amount each time.

I honestly don't know, I get confused myself. I very rarely reapply during the day but that shouldn't really make a big difference anyway.
I usually do little pumps for each bit of my face such as for my cheeks and then my forehead and my chin etc... i have no idea.

I don't usually wear foundation. I have such fair skin, that it is hard to find an exact match. Plus, I don't like the way it makes my skin feel. I wear mascara almost everyday, most of the time I wear lip gloss and if I am going out with friends, I'll put on bronzer and maybe eye shadow. But why not let your natural beauty show? With 7 bottles of foundation a day

I am very far from being the average woman when it comes to the amount of makeup that I wear in the course of a year. I will wear makeup only when I am going out somewhere nice with my husband or when I am going to a special event, like a wedding. When I do wear makeup, I don't wear any foundation at all, instead, I will wear a little bit of lipstick, eyeshadow, a touch of blush and perhaps a little bit of mascara. I figure that I am pretty enough the way that God made me.

Not that much actually. I mean, I do wear some mascara every day, but that's pretty much it. So I don't think it adds up to that much. But maybe I would be surprised if I would see it all at one time, you never know!! Would be an interesting experiment to make actually!! :)

Yeah, I saw that video as well on the AOL homepage. That's just a gross pointless video in my opinion because you are supposed to take the make up off your face when you get home, or whatever. At least that's what anyone I know who wears makeup does that doesn't want clogged pores. I wear make up whenever I go out mostly only foundation and mascara. When I'm going somewhere nice and want to dress up I'll go all out on liner, shadow, and all that jazz.

I hardly ever wear makeup, believe it or not. I only wear it about a couple times a year. I am just not the type to put it on. I do not really like the way it looks on me.

LIke you i seldom put on make up. I know that make ups have expiration dates but i don't throw them away if they aren't moldy.
I have a foundation, a bb cream, blush on, mascara, liquid eye liner, and eye make up. Oh and lipgloss too. During day time, i just put on bb cream, face powder, eye liner and lip gloss. I'm only fully made up on an evening party. So i don't consume much make up.

I wear make up everyday, but just a basic make up. When I go out at night, I wear more make up (eye shadows, eye pencil..).
I think I use 3-4 liquid foundations during the year and 2-3 powder foundations, that's definitely what I use more. I also have to buy 3-4 mascaras. I really like one brand (Lancome Hypnose), but I really like to buy new mascaras to try, so, in a year, I buy 3-4 new mascaras too. More 2 blush and a few eye shadows..
Yes, I guess I spend a lot money on make up during the year! :)

I usually have make-up applied. Seldom, will people find me without it (that's only because i'm sick or too lazy to put it on). I spend at least $1,000 yearly on cosmetics.
