I have graduated from my University 2 years ago. Honestly, I miss being a student. Being a student means you can make mistakes because you're still learning. You can explore on different sides of life. You can just enjoy every day with your friends and not worry about getting a perfect job or impressing your boss. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually miss studying and taking tests! What are the things you miss most during your student days? Share your stories! :)

Oh yes, I miss that time too especially my high schools. Yes, I like to keep my high school memories than my college time since I have more great memories on that time. That old days being with friends, waiting for them and play some games. Play a trick to the teachers, trying to be a bad girls-but we are nice girls actually.having laugh and jokes around the class. And of course the exams, trying to beat and compete with one another and remembering all the formulas and the history dates! Oh, I miss that so much!!(^^)

Yes, having time out with friends during school days is wonderful. Wow, you dare to play tricks on your teacher? Hope you didn't get punished by that teacher...

Hehe..we were lucky to have such fun and sporting teachers. They didn't mind if we play some tricks to them. It were just a fun tricks anyway as we were not bad students and just trying to be the bad one~(^^)

I miss the careless freedom! I miss the pizza we had for lunch! Hot lunch pizza is so much cheaper than the restaurant variety. I miss the lack of responsibility I had. I also had a doting mother that would do most anything for me - that's quite nice when you are lazy. Your parents are there to shield, be your financial backup and if you are bad or fail at something they get blamed. In the real world, you are your maid, you are your parent and you are your financial backup. Fail? It's your fault and you deal with it. Got laundry to do? Well get to it self!

When students we never realize just how easy life is - eat pizza with friends, complain about homework and chores with friends. ;) I miss that freedom at times.

I miss being around other people who want to learn, who want to discuss something other than the weather or what's for dinner. I miss intellectual banter and feeding off of one another. Just being around people who like to think, I've realized, makes a person more thoughtful. I love learning. My favorite word is "Why" - I'm like a 3 year old...why? why? why? why?

I love learning too! And the word "why" is very powerful. We are all still students even if we've already actually graduated. The learning doesn't stop in school, and the answers to all the why's are not yet being answered after all. We have so much more to learn! We're enrolled in the school of LIFE! :)

What exactly do you miss most about school? Is there something in particular? Please tell us your stories on what things in school you miss the most. For example, is it the friends you miss or the actual learning process?

I miss everything about school! I miss my friends, my campus, my teachers and learning inside the classroom. I miss having money from my parents, outings with friends. I can still remember the goofing around in our campus which makes me and my buddies popolar in school. :) I just wish I did better way back though my grades are ok then. I'm still with communication with my elementary to college friends by the way. :)

I, too, am still communicating with my friends from elementary, high school and college! I look at all the pictures I had from then, and I get really nostalgic! :)

Well, I just miss being not serious about the things I'm doing. What we do in school doesn't necessarily affect our real life, but when we graduate school, we must face the real life and be more serious. I miss hanging out with my friends, that's all.

Hi pinkpiglet! I graduated from college a couple of years ago. I started working a few months after that. I'm still working today but I started to be a student again just last year. I'm taking up a master's degree and it's completely different from an undergraduate degree. So anyway, what I miss most back in college was the times I spent with friends. Going to school with friends, going home with friends, studying at the library with friends, eating at the cafeteria with friends, basically everything that I do with my friends. Maybe I just miss my friends? I don't get to do those things in my graduate studies since I'm working and studying at the same time, I don't get to hang out with friends because I don't much have free time. I also missed taking exams because we don't often do that, too in graduate studies. I also miss my extracurricular activities back in college.

I do not miss anything about school. One thing i have noticed is that no matter how old you are you never stop learning. If we could live to be 1,000 years old there is never a end to learning.

"Being a student means you can make mistakes because you're still learning." Everyone is always still learning and everyone makes mistakes. That is just life, not school. I feel sad for you if you feel you can't enjoy life because you are not in school. What I miss about school is the classes. School is a good learning situation and not just for the subject of the class, but to see people's different views on things and how they interact and react to different situations. I used to write a lot of poetry in class because there was always something going on to give me inspiration.

I miss my friends and also the memories of my school days. Because at that time, i can meet my friends easily, as we always in the same club and class. Since, i graduated and married i don't have the chance to meet them as frequently as before anymore. Everyone of us are busy with our own daily life matters.

i miss living my life with no pressure, and if there is, its only minimal.

I miss my friends because when we were in college, we see each other everyday. Everything seems so easy when youre still young and all you have to worry about is getting good grades and having fun. Now, im worried about getting married and having kids and getting old.

I have graduated from the University last week, so I don't miss those times too much yet, and especially because I want to continue my studies, going to Masters as well. But I think I will miss University period when I will have a fixed schedule at work, where is compulsory to go everyday, I cannot skip courses anymore and I will not have the spare time which I have had during the time I was a student. Time will tell if I will enjoy working or if I will hate my job and miss the student times.

Yeah., were really same. I also missed those days of my college life. It's really enjoyable especially when your in first year in college its much more about socializing with people and much more on exploring about the rooms before the classes start in a big university full of lots of people. At first I was shy but later on as I mingle with them I started to build a friendship which is full of interactions and happy, funniest moments. It's what I remembered but now I'm having a hard time of finding a suitable job for me and impress someone with my skills but this talks about the self confidence, skills that acquired and working experience that really matters a lot. Well as days goes by I know that opportunities in life will knock our doors. (=

I miss my student days too! I always miss my mates in high school and college. All of us were carefree back then and now we are all busy in making a living. Nowadays it is hard to set schedules for meet ups and get together because of work. Also, I miss those days where you can just get your money from your mother or scholarship perfectly for nothing. Now you have to work doubly hard and earn it really hard. I love also the days when classes can be suspended and cancelled due to heavy rains. Now, when you are working, you cannot expect to have that kind of suspension.

Hi, there pink piglet! I got the same feeling as you. I miss being a student too. I miss the home works, my classmates, especially the irresponsible things I used to do when I was still studying. Whenever there are home works and I forgot it, I used to go to school very early so that I can copy with my friends. Hehehe.. I know it's not a good habit but I did it anyway. Hehehehe.. And I miss it.. soo.. much..

I miss my friends, my prof and the canteen. I also miss the mango tree which serve as our hang out when we have a long vacant time and also waiting of our next class. Most especially I miss having semester break because this is a time to relax and to miss your friends. Because currently to have a vacation you still need an approval from your boss :(

I graduated from a nursing course. I learned a lot from it and the thing I missed the most are my duty days wherein I enhanced my skills and interacted with patients and the rest of the health care team. I missed the tests and pop quizzes after lectures also. Well, everything I guess.
