over or get your own

I like my toilet paper over. PERIOD! I am not sure if this is due to upbringing or personal preference. I just know I like my toilet paper a certain way. My kids somehow are missing this small pet peeve of mine. What do I have to do to get this point across. I am thinking of making them come up with ways to get their own, but this seems a bit extreme. Just put the darn thing over like I said and all will be well in the land of writergirl o_O

vivamir...i know some people put their paper under when they have cats or something, but we don't and so I don't feel like I am stretching here asking for it to be over.

vivamir...surely anyone with good sense knows the paper should be over...(you and I, and maybe a few others), but having a mini tantrum is well within reason and I support all tantrums that involve the under behavior being banned, LOL!

haha this is a funny post. I know exactly what you mean because I'm the same way. I can't stand it when the toilet paper is under, it just seems so weird to me. Whenever I'm at someone's house and their toilet paper comes from underneath, it drives me crazy and I just don't like it.

courtknee525, I simply just don't get it. I can be at someone else's house and notice that the paper is under and I will change it. That is how excessive it is with me, lol.

I'm so bold, they could ask me and I would say, "YES, I turned your toilet paper. It was hard for me to use the other way". Then I would suggest they keep that way from now on. Usually over or under is pretty standard. Whatever way you start out is the way you end up and get use to. My ex husband didn't care what way the toilet paper was, but I noticed he mostly put it under. I always changed it ofcourse, but he never said a word about it. No wonder he and I didn't make it. Toilet paper position is key in any healthy relationship, LOL.

I really have no idea why people put it like that, it makes the toilet paper harder to use. I haven't really changed it when I'm at someones house because I don't want them noticing it later on and realizing it was me lol

My kids used to do that all the time. I would always flip it back over so that the paper goes over the top. I don't have that particular issue right now because one of my children broke the toilet paper holder off the side of the sink where it was secured. For now....it sits on the edge of the bathtub or the back of the toilet depending on who was in there last. Eventually I will stop being lazy and replace the holder. But then...the issue of over and under will being again.

LOL. I don't know why this is such a big deal to me, but it is. I remember when our holder broke and I remember when we never had one at times. I just know that when a holder is properly in place, it has to be over for me all the way. There is no other way, lol.

Nope...not obsessive. It's regal! I like it and I have adopted you as my toilet paper twin, LOL. There is a certain way the paper should be. End of story!

Nope..sorry lilybug and writergirl74 , Holder or No holder- there is a certain order for Toilet Roll (well, at least for me!).. Over, on the holder.. And the end thats loose is tucked neatly into the centre hole, if not on a holder.. Abit obsessive maybe?.

I'm the same and my lady always puts it on the wrong way round. Drives me completely wonko. And I even put the seat down! Gah! Where's the love, eh?

Cooks, cleans, does the shopping and brings in money from freelancing, too. Down-side is the completely absurd sense of humour, refusal to take anything seriously and funny-shaped ear lobes.

Spike, I can handle all that!! Funny-shaped ear lobes are more kissable ;)

Okay Spike, your lady might have some competition. You even put the seat down? That's true love there buddy! I'm sighing at the thought of having this type of love in my life. He likes the toilet paper over and he puts the seat down...sent from heaven ;)

I like mine the same, but figure if they're replacing the empty roll, they're doing pretty good!

So, you settle for the simple pleasure? I could not be this way if I tried. I stopped ranting about the position of the paper long ago, but I silently have an evil child inside me that wants to act out over this peeve of mine, lol.
