posted a question and doesnt like answers

I quite often come across this. Usually it is because the asker has not asked the right question or has not given sufficient information. Some people, apparently, think that we are mind readers! It always pays to read twice through what the asker has written and to consider that what they are asking may not actually be what they want to know. Long experience of working on help desks and as a software tutor has taught me that some very simple and seemingly straightforward questions can't really be answered in the way that the asker wants.

I have not come across this in a responded discussion that I have entered to date and could not imagine someone saying that their discussion was already answered when clearly your response and the one before that was before the one the member felt was better. I can only say that if came across something like that I would make a mental note not to answer anymore. That discussion was opinion based and not asking for a certain specific answer. Besides no one on myLot can say who can and cannot answer discussion here, that would be against myLot's concept. I do hope you do not get more like that as there are many, many other friendlier discussions here that many of the members greatly appreciate ALL responses. This is a discussion site, and to me a discussion is exactly that. You write something and other people respond - some will agree with you others may not - however everyone is entitled to state their own opinion. It should be your opinion though, you should not copy other peoples reply. I would avoid anyone who tells you that you cannot respond to their discussion as it has already been answered. Up till now I haven't come across anyone like this.

Yeah, I also experienced this here. It's actually a violation if you don't read the other's responses and responded almost the same that the other did. You still have to read what the others have posted so you as for you to find out if you have someone that had already posted what you're going to post.

I think we interpret what is written in our own individual way. The words have a different meaning for every person. However the context should be understood in a clear way. Then people can mean the same thing but write it differently. I think as long as people respond in a polite respecful way it should be appreciated. It was a two way communication.

I wonder what can happen to someone if her question was answered again. I'm so sorry because that doesn't sound good at all. There can be millions of people in this world and millions can have the opinion. I might suffer the same way you do because I don't normally read the answer of other before I could write my answer. I would take a glimpse sometimes and find the same opinion but there are ways of rephrasing it. Besides our opinions might be the same but not exactly alike most of the times. Just don't mind that. Let's just enjoy mylotting. And as for me, I am not gonna to say that to anyone because I don't want to hurt others' feelings because we are doing this to enjoy helping each other.

Yes this is really a type of surprising behavior because when somebody posted a discussions and when he got a answers about this and when he/she got another answer and in this situation this is a satisfying condition and instead of this he/she told you that he/she got answers about this discussions and don’t need any more then it like a surprising situation. Because mylot is a site where you can post any discussions and also answers about any questions. Even discussions have 0 responses or more than 20 responses.
