hi im 25 too and I dont know how to drive. I dont have the chance to learn and my husband wont like me to learn driving either. He is afraid to let me go alone. He knows how to drive and thats enough he said. He will drive for me wherever I want but he is scared that I might come into an accident or what, both of us are paranoid with each other but I love him like that. :D

I started driving when I was 15 and a half. Both my mom and the driving instructor from my high school taught me how to drive. However, my mom wasn't too keen on the idea...at first. So whenever she'd "teach" me, she do so in an empty church parking lot. I guess she figured nothing bad would happen there, being so close to God's house and all... Anyway, when my driving instructor found out that my mom wouldn't let me drive on the road, he went right up to her and told her to let me drive her home...that very day! Boy, was she a nervous wreck! LOL But we made it home safe and sound...and more importantly, in one piece! From that point on she let me drive. I even became her chauffeur for a while. LOL Personally speaking, I always think it's a good idea to get our driver's license. Because you never know when it might come in handy! Happy mylotting!

Friend people not care of age limit for driving car if car is in our house then we can drive in 12 to 15 age also but the good age is after 20. I am completed my 34 years of age but not know about driving. Nothing is tough in life if our thinking is positive and ready to hard work.

In china ,many students in school to learn driving. But few students travel alone. Many parents spoil their children ,treat them as a daughter. In the Philippines,is that right?

Hi rhane! I think you're still young and you still have a lot of chances to learn driving. I only started learning driving this March. And I'm only driving a scooter, an automatic motorcycle. I got my student permit last February, bought a scooter last February and started learning driving in March. My brother taught me. I know now how to drive but I am not able yet to drive in the highway. Luckily, the way to the office doesn't require me to take the highway so I still can use my scooter as a service. But I still can't use it to go to school because it requires me to cross the intersection in the highway and I still am not brave to do it. lol But if I finally apply for a non-professional license, I think I will be brave enough to cross the intersection. ^^ And I'm planning to learn how to drive a car. My brother sold his motorcycle because he's going to buy a car. I will get him to teach me how to drive a car. ^^

I think I was fortunate because right from my 17th birthday (which was the legal age in the UK), I started to learn to drive. My father had been a driving instructor when he was in the army, so I had professional instruction every day. I consider myself to be have been very lucky in this respect. _Derek

I was 15 when I started learning how to drive and I was 16 when I got my drivers license. The school I went to offered drivers education classes, so that is when I learned.

Way back in high school, my father taught me how to control the steering wheel every morning on our way to school. After several days of getting used to the steering wheel, I've learn how to move the gear since our car is not automatic. Then eventually I got my student permit. At the age of 18, I have my driver's license. Honestly, the first few weeks of driving would make you feel a little bit nervous but as you'll get used to it, you'll eventually gain self-confidence in driving any type of car. I suggest you enrolled at a driving school while your still young, who knows the next thing to that is you'll be buying your own car already.

I started trying to learn how to drive when I was 20 years old. I learned through the help of my brothers and also a bit of a refresher course from a driving school. Practice will really help you on learning how to drive. But once you become comfortable in driving you can take the practical examination easily. Also, the driver's license is an added valid identification card which is worth having. Can you already drive the highway?

My mom taught me how to drive when I was about 10. She would let me drive on my aunts road because there was never any traffic. At 14-17 I drove all the time, my moms car and my boyfriends. But I stopped when I started dating my husband and I've only drove once. I don't know why, but I'm terrified of driving now. I know how to do it and I am a safe driver, but I'm so scared of someone hitting me. I literally get a headache when I drive, and I'm talking less than 3 minutes. I'm 21 and I don't have my license. I don't think I will get it unless I have a small car to drive, right now we have a huge suv.

I am 20 now and I began driving at 16. My uncle and aunt taught me how. I didn't actually get my driver's license until I was 18 however. In Texas you can legally have a driver's license at 16 if you take the required driving classes and courses at a designated place. If you do not take those classes you cannot get your license until you are 18.

I started my lessons when I was 18, but I soon realised that it was costing too much for me to carry on. In addition to this, even if I did pass my test, I would never be able to afford a car and the insurance, so I thought that I might as well save up the money for University instead of wasting it on something that I could just do a little bit later in life. My boyfriend can drive so it really isn't all that much of a problem at the moment, but I want to learn eventually because it will be much better to have my own freedom.

I was 17 when I started, but almost got into an accident, got freaked out and gave up on it again. Finally got my license when I was 20. My mom taught me. Good luck!

My dad was a safety instructor for truck drivers when I was a teen and it was so intimidating to learn to drive from him. I had a great bus service where I grew up that was free to students so I dragged my heels and didn't get my license until I was 24, right after I got married! My husband finished teaching me what I started to learn from my dad as a teen and I've been a safe driver since, though I admit I'd rather let someone else do the driving when I can! I still don't like it much...
