Do you ever buy something...

Just because you can get a good deal on it? I know this probably sounds very "hoarder"-esque, but when it comes to clothes and dvds (my 2 vices) I will definitely go for clearance and sales - and the price usually determines how I feel about it and whether or not it's "worth" it. I've been going to a lot of "end of summer" clearance sales and getting great deals on things at consignment shops and normal mall stores. In the past 2 months or so (NO JOKE) I have literally bought about 20 new blouses, 3 new pairs of jeans, 2 new pairs of sandals, and probably about 3-4 new dresses. Now I bought most of the pieces on super-duper clearance probably for $10 or less a piece but still...... I'm wondering if the line between "cheap enough to be cute" and "cute enough to buy" is too blurry of a line? Do you ever have the same problem?

I tend to spend more money on food at the mall than I actually do on clothes or other items... I do tend to buy a lot of clothes because they were on sale though. This summer there was 5 for 20 tanks. It was a struggle not to buy every colour available :P I usually splurge on shirts, I guess because they do tend to be the cheapest. Pants are hard for me because I am really short, so even if they're super cheap they're usually too long and not worth the hassle of hemming.

I just have a tendency to be at work without lunch or out with my friends during supper time or something. I don't eat in restaurants a lot it's mostly subway at the mall or McDonald's or something.

When me and my friends go out, we always go hunting for good deals and clearances, especially on the expensive brands. Every store with a "sale" or "clearance" sign, me and my buddies will be in there immediately. Once I'm in the store, I'll browse and feel the need to buy something like a shirt even if I truly don't really need it or like it. Because it's such a good deal and I couldn't just leave the store without buying something, so I do. Once I buy it and get home, I realize, why did I buy this for? and the item of clothing will probably just hang in the closet untouched. Still, it's good to seek a bargain, especially for your favorite brands.

I know exactly what you are talking about!!! It is definitely hard to pass up on a good deal - especially if it something you know you will wear or use!! I have gotten much better with it over time. I have started to add up what I spend each week and month on such purchases. It really helps to keep me in check!! I also keep a list of things I could use new. That way I just look for those items. Think about it: you bought about 25 items of clothing. Even if you got a SUPER good deal on each one and they averaged to be $5 each, that is still $125. Im sure you spent more than that on them! Was it really worth it? What else could you have done with that $125? Plan a vacation? Pay off some debt? Purchase that tv you have had your eye on? If you make a plan of what to use that money for instead, it makes it much easier to pass up on things you dont need!! If nothing else, you dont need to buy any clothes for a while because you have a whole new wardrobe!!

I am not a shopping guy. Because I shopping very rarely. Sometimes when I really feel that now I want something then I go for purchased it. I always like to shop in my budget. Because I am unemployed in present so I am not able to invest more money in shopping. Sometimes I like to purchase jeans and tee-shirts. Because this is my favorite cloths.

First off, I don't. But it is interesting to read about the items you bought. I think I also read in an old discussion that you also dispose of these items sometime. Do you ever sell them for profit online? Maybe that's a form of justification. If you can get rid of it too (for a profit), so it wouldn't be so "hoarder"-esque.

I do this very often and regret it later. It's an excuse for me to buy tons of clothes just because they are cheap. I find myself broke later because of the cheap things which add up more when multiplied.
