Breakfast at home

My husband and I still keep the habit of eating breakfast at home. Previously, we ate outside, but I find that is more expensive and the food is unhygienic. Now, I try to get up early by about 30 minutes in the morning to prepare breakfast for the couple. I chose the dishes are simple, easy and quick cooking. Some dishes I prepare in night before. For example, with pasta dishes, I cooked soup in the evening, then leave it in refrigerate. In the morning, I simply boiled noodles and mix in soup, so have a good healthy dish:) How about you? Do you like breakfast at home?

I would rather eat breakfast at home too. We can make what we want, how we want it. We save money also by doing that.

I prefer eating breakfast at home. It's much safer and I know it will be worth eating for I know who cooks and prepares it. And most especially it's much cheaper. Don't want to really spend much on food when you know you can have it on a much less expensive cost.

We usually eat breakfast at home too. I prefer to just have a quick snack most days so I will have some sweet bread or some oatmeal. I also like toast. I will occasionally fix eggs and bacon or pancakes. My husband also likes smoked sausage and french toast for his breakfast. He also likes omelettes but I usually don't make them.

I couldn't eat soup in the morning for breakfast but that's just me. You must come from a different culture than me. I do eat breakfast at home most often than not. I always have some hard boiled eggs in the fridge and so on work days I usually have one of those and a peice of toast with peanut butter and a glass of milk. I also take a boiled egg with me for a snack later in the morning, with half a bagel. I get out of bed about an hour and a half before I have to leave in the morning. I am slow in the morning and I like to sit around or be on the computer in the morning and then I clean up my kitchen and sometimes put on a load of laundry. There is always something for me to do in the mornings so that is why I get up early, not neccessarily because of having to have time to eat breakfast because I always make the time for that as I can't go without it. But on the weekends I sometimes go out for breakfast. We have places here where I live that breakfast is only $1.99 and it costs more than that if I make breakfast at home because I like a bigger breakfast on the weekends and usually like to have bacon and eggs and hashbrowns and toast. I did make those things today for breakfast at home though because I got up too late to go out for it as those specials are usually over at 10am and today I slept till later than that.

We usually eat breakfast here at home too, although sometimes we do go out for breakfast like on the weekend. But not often though. It is true we do not know the care and cleanliness of how our food is handled. We do not try out new places unless someone recommends but our usual is at home.

There are so many fast and easy things to eat at home. The only way I like to eat out is if I can take the time to enjoy the meal and having people bring me food. It is true that you do not know how clean the food preparation place is.

yes, tkonlinevn! I love breakfast at home. In our country, having rice as breakfast is the thing. Rice, plus eggs (omelet, sunny side up, scrambled etc) and corned beef, or hotdogs, ham, luncheon meat and other native dishes (if I mentioned it here maybe you wouldn't know it) but anyway, it's good to start your day when you get breakfast at home with your family or the one you love. We also prepare soup, cereals, oatmeals, coffee, milk, slices of fruits, bread, waffles and pancakes. Hmmmmm delicious!

French Toast - French Toast for Breakfast
It is always cheaper to eat breakfast at home. Of course you just have to spend some effort and time but I believe it is more delightful because at least you know how the food you are eating are prepared. I myself would spend some time to prepare breakfast for my family. I am not only after the savings but also after the health of my family.

I do prefer breakfast at home. But as the weather started to get very hot I didn't feel like preparing foods in my kitchen at all. I have one tiny AC unit in my bedroom and it only cools off my bedroom. So, the cook in the kitchen is miserable in the Summer heat. As the weather cools off I start to cook in my kitchen a little more and I will begin eating breakfast at home again.

I usually have breakfast at home, but I have something like cereal or a piece of fruit that is ready to eat. Sometimes I have half a grapefruit, but even that sometimes takes too much work. I eat most of my meals at home, but I hate to cook, so I have whatever is easiest to fix. I eat a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and salads.

It's so much better to have breakfast at home! I mean, once you wake up, you either cook the food for your loved one, or wait for him/her to cook for you. It's also more comfortable, and as you pointed out, you have an assurance that the food prepared is clean and fresh. Even if you only cook instant noodles and the like, still, it's more fun.

of course, I still like breakfast at home. It's much more cheaper and less hassle, I don't have to go out of the house anymore. I just usually eat bread and sometimes noodles. It's just easy to prepare, doesn't take more than 30 minutes. Breakfast at home is the best, especially if my mother cooked it.

We usually have breakfast at home. We'll have something simple, like cereal, or maybe we'll make waffles or pancakes. We add fruit and milk, and it's a nice meal for not very much money and not too much time. It does make a mess in the kitchen though.

I do like breakfast at home as well as most meals. I enjoy going out to eat sometimes but would not want to do it all the time like so many people do.

Me too, I always eat breakfast at home, just a piece of sliced bread with any cold cut or sausage or cheese to put on top and a mug of tea or coffee whichever is available.....since I am working in a hotel, we have a staff cafeteria that serves 3 meals a day....When I reach my workplace, i will go to the cafeteria and will take small bowl of cereals, sometimes they have scrambled egg, sausages, pancakes, croissant, juices, coffee and tea....it's just my back-up because our lunch time is at 2pm....

You're right! It's expensive and unhygienic to eat outside. I have breakfast at home almost everyday. Sometimes it's just milk and bread because I got up late. Now,I think I can prepare in night before too, just like you do. Then I can eat whatever I want.
