I mean I love this show when these people send in their tapes to get someone to help them with their home I mean wow when todd and his team come in to help the people out I mean wow the house be so beautiful, I mean they get so creative its not funny, and everytime the people see their house they begin to cry and so do I because when I look at other people happiness come to light it makes me happy, because you look at what other people go through and you wish that there was something that you could help them with but to see how they houses come about its something special, I really like this show it is the best shows that I like well one of them.

I love that show 2 i think it's so great people are willing to go help people that they either have meet (the jpeople in the community always help) and people who have never met them (ty). For me it gives a slight glance that ya bad things happen today but their are still really great people out there. I also love the show comming home with Billy rae i just love shows like that where people are genuinly trying to make someone else's life better:)

We had one of the extreme makeovers here just a couple of miles from my house. It is beautiful.....the problem is that they are still struggling to pay for the other bills that are incurred with the program. Like property taxes. They had to let the truck go also that was given to them. It was a beautiful well meaning moment though...and lots of people had tons to be proud of after it was finished!

I have seen the show. I like it very much. It makes me cry sometimes to see how these people's lives will change in their new home and how happy they are when their home is all done up for their needs. It would be really cool to have someone come in and make your house exactly like you would want it to be. I love seeing all the cool things they do in those houses.

I do not watch this show myself. i have never even watched it one time. it is one of my mother's favorite programs to watch. she never misses an episode. Having her tell me about it is as informative as watching it for myself.@walking2010 (1009)

WOW!! Extreme Makeover Home Edition is a great show that can really make you grateful. It is so sad to realize how other americans live, their houses basically falling apart. I, myself feel grateful to Ty and his crew for taking their time to help others...They are AmaZiNG!!

I love home make over shows! They are amazing! Its wonderful how a few pairs of hands can transform the most horrible homes into these things ready to grace the pages of home and lifestyle magazines.
BUT I have one problem.. realistically.. how good can the workmanship be? On something done in an hour? Would paint really be dry? Would wood glue really be dry? Are fixtures and fittings really that secure done so quickly? That’s what I always wonder.. when the cameras go and a door gets slammed, does everything fall off? Haha!

Yes I see how they get creative and it makes me want to be creative with my house as well.
