I often feel tired

I often feel tired and my body seems to have no life. My work at the company is not so hard. But at home, I almost can not study or do other things. I feel headache, drowsiness and fatigue throughout the body. When I travel, I usually can only walk about 1 to 2 hours. Then I began to feel tired and I was not excited to go next. I really do not understand what is happening to my health. I have a general physical examination and the doctor said my body is very normal. Do you have any advice for me?

Hi Tk! Could it be that you are hypertensive already? If this condition is typical to your parents, then you are most likely a candidate of it as well. Or could it be that you are just depressed?

I know what you mean. I have gained some weight and I stay stressed out all of the time. I also work seven days a week but try to also get plenty of rest. I stay tired all of the time too though and the doctor says I am healthy.

it's not healthy to stay tired all time no matter what your doctor says. If you are not bored at work, or depressed I would try to find out what is going on. There are enough health problems you might have which your doctor is not able to find out. You can't do every test. I am always tired too. As long as I can remember and from one moment to the other I can completely collaps. I do have an auto immuun system disease (actually 2), allergies and I know I am not able to take enough rest so partly it's my own fault. Might be good if you change your life schedule. work less, fill that time with a hobby which should not be watching tv or sitting behind your computer (with that you easily forget the time or stay even if you are exhausted).

hhhmmmm.my diagnosis to that?BOREDOM!why not try anything unique or pamper yourself to a spa. that would certainly make you alive again. The thing that can shake me out of boredom immediately is personal contact, either f2f, phone call, the internet, or whathaveyou. And the second most productive thing for me is to go cook something. Making a sandwich doesn't count and if I'm bored with food I'll not even eat at all. But if I've got a new recipe to try, or invent (I do a LOT of that) I am one happy dog. I have to say that my expectations for entertainment don't rise. I'm relatively easily entertained. What I do not like at all, is to have my work interrupted with "play" and vice versa. consider yourself lucky too for being that healthy.

I guess your fatigue is probably due to psychological reason(s). For instance, if you are no longer interested in your present job but you just hang in there because of the income, there is a possibility that you may experience mental and/or emotional fatigue. When a person is mentally or emotionally tired, he may seem to feel physically tired as well. But when he is physically tired, it need not necessarily mean that he is also mentally or emotionally tired.

I think you just get used to not working too much. Maybe you do not go out that much or you do not doing some physical exercises. What you need is to become physically active. Try going to the gym. Perform some work outs. I used to feel the same way as you do, I wanted to just lie down on my bed the whole day but I realized there are a lot of things to be done. I always list all the activities I need to do for the day to keep me busy the whole day.

I think you need exercise. I too feel so tired even if I only sit at the office and type. It's not a tiring job but I really feel tired anyway. I think exercise is the key here. I never do exercise daily, I only do when I wish to join a fun run or a marathon, but if there is non, I don't do any exercise. We lack a little movement and energy in our body that is why we feel tired always and get easily tired even after a very short walk.

I think your problem is not physical but mental or emotional or psychological. Try revitalizing your spirit by enrolling in a gym. Remember, energy begets energy. You only get energy or motivation from your own self.

Since you have already undergone physical exam and your doctor told you that your body is very normal. So nothing to worry about your health maybe there is something the doctors can not diagnose, example is stress.Too much thinking can also be one cause. You could try joining a health club so that you can exercise regularly or do something that will occupy your idleness.Engage in some sports activity or anything just to make you busy.

How about exercise? How often do you do it? You control your body, not letting your body control you. Does any of your family has same condition as you? When you travel, this is the time you're supposed to feel excited or to have a good time. You want to explore and spend time.

I think you should have enough sleep or rest and consume sufficient of nutrition daily. It is good for you to consult a doctor about your problem too. Recently, I heard that the new disease H5N1 started at Vietnam and Thailand. H5N1 is very much worse than the H1N1. Just be caution to prevent from getting this type of disease whereby 60% of the patients will die.

Energy begets energy. Don't give in to that feeling of fatigue. Do physical activities like dancing, walking instead of riding, etc. When you succumb to fatigue that is when we start to feel sick. Just keep on moving and do not listen to that part of us that makes us feel lazy and tired.

If you doctor says all else if fine then I would probably just say doing too much lately. Maybe too you are thinking a great deal and that at times can make us tired and run down.

Just eat more fruit and nuts.Maybe you need to implement some nutritious food to improve your health.Vitamins and protains are also important for our body.Meanwhile, just relax and listen more to some light music to ease your mind, you would feel better, also, sleep well, you may find better next day.Good luck.

I think you should sleep early to have more energy on the day.Exercise will give you more energy to sustain the everyday activities in life and taking b1 6 12 really helps a lot in our nerves and to relax our mind too. That really helps me this days especially in my stressful life.

Maybe you just need some time out or vacation from your job. If your physical examination is normal, have you tried the laboratory work ups? Maybe there might be something that causes your easy fatigability. Based on my experience before, I had anemia and that caused my weakness. I can't even sleep well. When i started taking iron supplement, I improved. Maybe you need to have your blood chemistry checked.
