The weather was friendly to me today

The weather has been too much of a fickle-minded woman lately and she's been raining on me at the wrong time! 
But today, she was kind to me. I went out of the office this afternoon and I had to walk some distance before I can take a public transport. I was thankful that it was a little cloudy so it wasn't that bad to walk on the road. When I was finally inside a public transport, that's only the time that the sun showed itself. Great timing! 
When I was going back, I was worrying because I had to walk that distance again and it was still sunny. I did not want to walk under the hot, hot sun. But lucky me! When I got off the vehicle, it got cloudy!

Hi Barb! I don't know the temperature yesterday but it was sunny and it was hot.

Sounds like you need an umbrella to double as a parsol. I've had days like that, too. Take care.

Hi, secretbear. It rained really bad here today where I live at too. It rained so bad, the weather turned really cool later on that evening. I am so glad for this rainy weather. We are in the need of it so much. It has been nothing but hot and humid today. It started off being cloudy, then it turned to being sunny. After that, it started raining. We have had some crazy weather today! It is very nice to know that the weather was friendly to you today.

Hi cream! I'm okay with rain as long as I'm safely at home and relaxing. I just don't like it when rain stops me from going out or when it rains while I'm driving my scooter.
Weather's been pretty crazy here, too. Yesterday started with a sun then in the afternoon it rained real bad and in the evening it stopped.

hello secret,
I do wish the weather will be fine till tomorrow.
It's been raining for many days and I don't like the smell of my clothes (newly washed)
Having it sun-dry is still the best for our clothes aint?

Hi jaiho! Yeah, I prefer sun-dried clothes, too! If it's cloudy, then at least there can be wind to dry the clothes. The weather is still fine today. I'm not sure about later in the afternoon.

You know what, I think that we're in that two week period with me, where I have no complaints whatsoever about the weather. I swear, there are about two weeks every single year, where the weather is just right and I have no too complaints. Well maybe slightly more, but you get the picture. Still there are times where the sun is shining, the temp is comfortable.
It has been an insane year for the weather around these parts. Either really hot, rather cold, or rainy or any other kind of storms. I think that finally getting some middling weather is really something that is going to be a boon to me. I really feel rather blessed to say the very least. Hopefully the nice weather will keep up for many but this has been one weird year weather wise.

I think it's the effect of climate change. The weather's been extra unpredictable nowadays. I am also thankful at times that the sun shines and my clothes have the chance to dry. And I'm thankful when it rains because it cools the hot weather.
