Do you like to eat plain or mixed flavored peanut butter?

My kids and I love to eat Smucker's Strawberry, Chocolate or Grape flavored peanut butter spread stripes. We enjoy eating peanut butter that is mixed with another flavor. These flavors are very delicious and it is very yummy when you want a sweet sandwich to eat. I enjoy buying these different flavors because it gives my family and I a chance to try something unique and different for a change.

I like both! However, if I must choose, then I would choose to have peanut butter with added flavour.

Hi, huilichan8. Yes me too. I would rather choose to have the added flavor, it is just much tastier than the plain peanut butter spread.

Growing up, I loved peanut butter. I remember getting a spoonful, and just eating it off right from the spoon. Although not a regular favorite, I also sometimes enjoy the mixed flavored one. Unfortunately, the school which my kids go, have a policy for peanut butter. They are not allowed to bring any. So, it's something that we don't regularly buy. And something they don't enjoy as much.

Hi, bounce58. I remember when my cousins were younger, they would get up in the middle of the morning to sneak in the peanut butter. They were always so hungry, at least for peanut butter! I think that my cousin and her sister had a spoon and they were just eating the peanut butter out of the jar. My grandmother would scold them and yell at them for sneaking into the peanut butter.@ binggaling. Yes, I would think that if the peanut butter had peanuts in it, the students that were allergic to it, could not handle eating the peanut butter at school. That is why they no longer allowed to bring peanut butter to school anymore.

I have never tried the mixed flavored kind before. I have only had the creamy or the crunchy kind.

Yes, at first I have too. When I found out about the other types of peanut butter with the sweet flavor in it, I loved it when I tasted it, from the very first bite.

I know that my kids loves regular peanut butter and the peanut butter with stripes too. They even like to lick the spoon!

I'm a little weird when it comes to my peanut butter preferences..lol. I don't want it mixed with other stuff unless I do it. I like peanut butter and banana sandwiches and I like peanut butter on celery too. I have made peanut butter toast too and it is surprisingly good with strawberry or grape jam on it.

Hi, JenInTN. Yes, I have to agree, I don't like peanut butter mixed with everything either, but strawberry and grape, is a delicious combination when it is mixed together.

Wow, you are sooo lucky... we only get Peanut butter mixed with chocolate spread here in the UK, or in a jar on it's own. It would be nice to try it with something different!

Hi, rosie230. Well, I am thankful for this though. I have responded to a discussion today that was in relation to people in the UK not having certain foods there that they offer in the U.S. but not in the UK. I wished that they would change this so that you all can enjoy just as much of the yummy foods that we have here too. I don't know of the exact reasons why they don't have the same type of foods that they have in the U.K. I was not aware of this until a myLotter created a discussion about this.

I don't think I have ever eaten peanut butter with any added flavors to it. Just always plain peanut butter. So I guess we know what my answer to that question is. I do like the crunchy kind but that's not part of the question, unforunately lol.

Hi, DarthJustice. That is okay. I love to eat Jiffy's creamy peanut butter from time to time. I have ate the crunchy peanut butter before, but it is just not a favorite of mines though.

I don't like the Smucker's jelly with peanut butter. I prefer to have the jelly and pb in separate containers because I might want to have a different jelly to pb ratio than the one that is provided in the jar.

I like the Smucker's Goober as well, did you know they now have a chocolate and peanut butter jar out now. I like the fancy peanut butter flavors, from the brand I cannot seem to recall. They make dark chocolate dreams and other ones. It's kind of expensive though.

Hello cream97 While I usually just eat peanut butter by itself in the container, I absolutely love Goober Grape Peanut Butter, which mixes the peanut butter and the grape jelly together, in a lovely swirl motif. I love this Goober Grape Peanut Butter, but it is expensive and even worse, I tend to eat it all in one sitting, with a spoon. This is simply not good for me. Therefore, I have to refrain from buying this delectable delight and only do so once or twice a year.
