I just can't stop thinking time is running and for me I feel that what I do for extra income is not enough. I admit that this years online job for me is the driest. I am earning pretty slow unlike before every month I can get $80 or more. But now, ahhh! I just can't tell here but its really frustrating. I just want to ask you guys if you can help me know what other means or alternative ways to do at home to earn money. Do you have hobbies that pays you well? If yes, what are they?

Hi there my friend, well I am pretty slow too on my earnings online but I don't give up that easily. I still am earning well on my blog site and I have some writing gigs to do to earn money. I will like to venture out on crafts making to gain some money, let's see if I succeed on sewing or stitching and some crochet works. I will also like to try on baking once I get an oven, but that will still take time.

Hello befriendwithme, well that is also good but in India, malls even ask you to provide your own plastic else you pay for their plastic bags. It is their drive campaign for a cleaner greener India. Anyway, I'm more interested selling crafts and knick knacks. If I can start on sewing and knitting, I will, just to add something for extra income.

Don't worry it will add some more, this year is not yet done, although its already the month of "ber" and that is why most of us here wants to double time in earning to spend something before Christmas.

Most of us are here because we wanted to earn more or extra income. That is why I started to post this topic to know what interests or hobbies do people do in order to earn something extra. Some sell foods, candies or chocolates. Some friends do earn extra by selling mobile loads, some do earn extra by baking cookies and cupcakes. So what do you think is a hobby that you are interested doing and you know that you can earn from it?

Bestviewads is not a hobby . I think that site has a problem now, have they paid you? it is pretty slow if you don't have referrals, by the way I am a member of that site, but I did stopped already.

I think we are all in the same boat that is why we are using this site lol. I am scouring the internet trying to find different ways to earn money, I think one of the best ways right now is to make videos and post them on sites like break.com and metacafe, I havnt made any money on these sites yet because i havnt posted any videos, but throughout my research on the internet i have came to the conclusion that these two sites are the best for making money by submitting videos. But remember your videos have got to be very funny or something that people will be interested in, so check them out, you can actually make a lot of money if you carry around a video camera everywhere you go.

Thanks for that information Roger, I wonder if that earns by the number of viewers or by revenue sharing. I will just keep that site aside and once I get to post a funny video, maybe I can use the site, but its not really my cup of tea to posts vids, probably tutorial, but funny ones hmmmmmm...

I don't make money from my hobbies, although what I do is I make gifts for people, because I knit and sew. This year, I am going to sew bags for people and knit scarves and hats for people. I am going to sew handpuppets for my son's friends. Hopefully I will get it all done in time. I had thought about getting a craft fair table to sell some of these things, so I might do that as well.

wow, that's great to hear, you have the potential to earn by what you do in sewing and knitting. I just wish I have tools and the skills to do such. But for me, I can say that you can earn from that hobby by selling them offline or online.

To me, I am trying to help my dad out and come here as much as I can (weekends are hard though because I am always out), I also do some of the other "earn extra from home" sites. Like they pay you to view paid emails, surveys, and to do offers. I usually do the paid emails because it is the easiest on there. When I need the money, such as in this occasion, I am starting to do the surveys as well.

Hi OOfear, I don't do paid emails. Hubby does the paid surveys but it will take so much time to reach a payout so I don't focus on such. That is why I posted here if there is anyone who can also share what hobbies they do to earn money, just in case it will help me broaden my perspective to earn more extra dough before Christmas.

That is good to hear Sanjana! I have been interested in cooking too but I still need to wait for that baking part since I needed an oven and baking tools first before I start to venture on that.

Hello there.:-) Hmmm... this topic makes me think about earning more. I am a stay at home mum and I am dependent solely on my husbands take home pay. We are trying to figure out how to save but every end of the month, we often left empty handed. The only good thing is we never starved and enjoy the little comforts of life. Check your junks. It is about time to clean up your garage for all the stuff you have been hoarding. Bottles and newspapers, even jars and all. Sell them to the junk shops. If you love to cook, you can start selling merienda or even viands. Food is a good business, you know. If you have a talent for writing, I must say you start joining expertscolumn, triond, etc to help you earn a little bit more. If you have the knack for crafts, you may start making them and sell them in your neighborhood.

Hi Eurekafemme, I am really saving those bottles and plastics to the junk shop. We don't have newspapers since we don't buy any because we tend to open news online rather than to spend on daily papers. I cannot sell foods here at the moment since I am not in my own country and for me language is still the barrier, but I will try that idea soon once I get to save money for an oven and start baking, perhaps that will give me a start if hubby helps me to sell those foodies to his colleagues.

I have thinking/ stressing about this a lot lately. I need to start saving a portion of my money for christmas but I am not sure I have enough time to save up how much I normally spend. I am a HUGE christmas fan and love giving gift more than even recieving them. I think its very exciting to look for something someone will absolutly love. One thing I do though that does help is I am in differant gift card sites and I always cash those out every year and use them for christmas, that is always helpfull. Right now I do have a lot to pay for, it always just seems everything happends at one time doesn't it. Christmas is really something that you should save up for all year. I have always told my mom, whom always stresses about money at christmas time, that she needs to put in two dollars a week into a bank acct., the money would probably go unmissed. From january to november that is 88 dollars for christmas, which would help. She always says she is going to do it then doesn't. If you can afford more like five dollars a week though I would deffiently do that as that would help. Also, change, we have a family change jar that we use for a vacation. But, you could get a change jar and use it for christmas every year. You would be surprised how much you atchually save up.

Hello Existwithme, thanks for that information. Actually I am now saving some money and I keep a small amount, those change and some lower amount bills that I can gather so that it will be of help also.

wow even $80 a month is good for most people who don't make a proper living online. how much are you earning now? It varies what I make from month to month, usually 10 dollars is even good for me lol even if I put in a lot of effort. I tried almost everything and not much has worked out, just little websites like this that are enjoyable but you make a little money out of it as well. I don't want to discourage you but it is very hard to make decent money online unless it's something you have a degree for.

I am on my third trimester of pregnancy that is why I am just at home and I work online. I have a regular income on my blog site and that is why I also wanted to add some extra work like a hobby perhaps to incorporate my goals to add some more money before Christmas. I am planning to do some stitching but I have to search out for the materials here. I am also interested in baking but this will still take time because I need oven and other tools for that before I can think of earning.

Hi Cowgirl, well yes it is really a difficult time of the year. Even sites don't cooperate. I hope I can make it through on my online gigs, and some interesting hobby to add to make some money before Christmas.
