Florida Straw Poll

Most of the news programs I watched sort of wrote off the Florida straw poll as a fluke for choosing Herman Cain. I don't agree with their assessment. I think they chose Herman Cain because he is the only one who has a real plan. The rest of them are pretty much at each others throats trying to prove who would not be the best for the job, while Herman Cain is keeping his focus on solutions to the problems we are facing with the present administration. What are your thoughts?

I don't think that he is a strong candidate I mean he is stronger than the two that they are saying are the front runners Perry and Romney. But that isn't saying much. I don't see him being able to be stronger than Ron Paul or Gary Johnson. I also think that Huntsman is better than he is but the Florida Straw Poll is a big thing I mean him winning it means that he does have a fairly strong campaign I mean Bachman didn't win it and it shows him as being a stronger candidate than the Mainstream Media played him out to be which at this point the mainstream media is really lame on pretty much everything.

Right now it is pretty much up in the air for all the candidates. I'm hearing on the news that the Tea Party Nation organization, out of Nashville, TN is endorsing Newt Gingrich. I have always liked Newt, and surely he could hold his own in a debate against any DNC candidate. Lots of drama right now in the GOP.

I agree with you. So far Cain is setting out to be a solid and strong candidate, at least in my opinion. I just wish he would rise a bit higher in the polls and knock Romney down a few pegs.

I wish he would too. I'm thinking maybe his big ranking in the FL straw poll will help more voters view him as a serious candidate. It's hard for a Washington outsider to break into the ranks sometimes.

True, but what have Washington insiders done for us other than cause greater problems? Maybe this will give him the break he needs to stand a chance. I think he would actually be a good President....better than we have seen in a while!

I think he could be a good president. He has already proven himself in business, he has proven he has excellent management skills. I think his plan for the economy would be likely to succeed.
