rating of discussion

i simply donot understand that if someone started any discussion,even though he found an answer to his question,still he donot give a best rating to any of the commented,if i found any advice good,i simply rated it best,but i guess most of the guys are not doing so

Receiving a best response does not add anything to our earnings therefore there is no reason to award it immediately. Indeed myLot tell us to wait at least a week.

Since there are so many users it is not easy to determine if most don't do it. I have seen many award and some do so after sometime.
For instance I am one who waits months before I do as my discussions seem to flow for a long time. There will be times when it won't be easy to determine who should be awarded as many members do provide very useful responses. So it is simply a matter of choice as to when, if ever done and or not doing so.
Once you have here for a while you may find it not to be an easy task to do.

there is nothing in this world easy,what i am saying is now a days there is a lack of appreciation,if u like something appreciate it,remember one thing time doesnot come back,if ur age is for eating apples is today,donot wait till when u grow old so that you donot have teeths to eat them

I don't get in a hurry selecting a best response for a couple of reasons. One I like to wait a while and give people a chance to answer, and then when I get several responses I try to choose the best one carefully. I take my time especially since you can only choose one.

suraj7nov Mylot admins suggests we wait a week before we select the best response to allow all our friends to read it and respond if they wish to do so. then pick a best response. some of us getbehind but we will catch up. Just wait a bit as some may be busy off line or out of town. I do try to resolve all of mine in a timely manner. some do get lazy here but they are the ones who will leave anyway. wait a bit before you get upset with others here.

To be honest, I don't think I have rated anybody on the comments they have made in the discussions that I have generated because if you really think about it - all of them did give me a piece of their mind for advice.
Also, like they said I don't think it really matters if you have rated the comment as the best because mylot does not give extra payment on this (or mylot will consider this in the future?)

For me it depend on what kind of discussions that I start with. If discussion need specific and correct answer, 100% I gonna make best answer rate. But if discussion only in general terms (had a lot possible answers), usually I only made rate (+) for participation (Possibility that I gonna make "best rate" only 50%).
