Canada is always a nice place during the summer time. Mmmmm, I still remember the flowers and people who will travel with ballon all over the sky. Maple leaf ? Oh. yes. I love it. It is so romantic and it is so beautiful during September when it turns from green to red. The only thing that I may have problem with Canada is the snow and cold weather after the first snow fall. The snow fall? Of course it is so pretty. The people are generally nice people and easy to get along with and they are mostly friendly people.Do I miss Canada? Sometimes. Why? I was in there for 11 years. Since I am not a young person anymore and all my memory and all the people I knew seems changed. I was in Vancouver few years ago with a 80% discount business class ticket and I enjoyed my time in there. Well, that's my story? What's yours?

Canada - Canada is a place for Maple leaf.
Well, It depends on which part of Canada you are talking about. If you prefer warm weather and less and to almost no snow, Vancouver is a good choice for you.The coolest part will be up North and in Eastern Ontario is also cold enough. We used to have anywhere around 0-minus 40 in Ottawa during the winter time.If you are planning to move in there, it is better to do some research before you go. It is because some parts of Canada is very difficult to find a job in there. Usually the large city such as Toronto and Vancouver will get a better opportunity to find a job , but still it really depends on what you do. Well, it is surely a beautiful country but the life in a small city or village can be very boring as well. That's why there will always looking for something excited or fun to do. But if you like quiet and peace, Canada will surely be a good choice. Fishing and enjoying all the nature is always a part of the Canadian life.Well, I hope you will enjoy your time in there. Happy mylot.

Oh, Canada. How I miss this place ! I always want to go back for a visit but the last time of my visit was in 2006 already. It was a nice trip since I had a free ticket and just add some money , then I could upgrade to business class. It was really helpful for me to travel to Vancouver with a 13 hours flight. It was so comfortable and I could spend sometimes just for myself and need not to worry about any problems and headache in Hong Kong. I enjoy my one day trip to Victoria by ferry. I have never took a ferry to travel in Canada before and it was my first time if my memory is correct.Anyway, Vancouver nice place except things were a bit expensive when compare to Eastern Canada. I had many pizza in there and enjoy some other kinds of breakfast.Unfortunately I didn't have rent a car at that time and I could only travel by bus and it really limit my journey to certain area. But it was still okay for me since I took the train and I wasn't really border about going to lots of place. I just want to spend some time for relaxation in there and some times for being alone , that's all. It would be nice if I could go to the winter Olympic which was held in Vancouver one year after my trip . But the timing was just not fit at all. They were still talking about build up a subway system by the time I was there and things were starting to build up at that time. I guess they have already finished the system for the winter Olympic already. Maybe I can try it and see what this new transits system look like.Happy mylot.

I visited Canada last summer with my disabled son and my daughter. We flew from London to Vancouver. We explored the lovely city of Vancouver, went across to Vancouver Island and then traveled over to Powell River. It was a picturesque journey down from there back to Vancouver involving two river crossings. I found the people very friendly and helpful. My daughter had her first birthday whilst we were in Canada. I had my thirty eight birthday there too. I really like Canada and would like to see more of it in the future. For years I have wanted to visit Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. I hope to go back for another trip one of these years. The flight is quite expensive but Canada is worth it. I wonder if it would be an excellent trip if I got a train pass and traveled across Canada by train. I could start in Halifax and end in Vancouver.

Wow, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. I want to go to these place as well.I used to know someone who lived in Ottawa and will go back to Prince Edward Island to visit his family almost every summer. He was a funny guy that who could only drive and sit in the front seat but will vomit whenever he is not driving and not sitting in the front seat. He would drive to P.E.I with his old cars for 10 hours on a one way trip and then come back to Ottawa with another 10 hours drive.Frankly speaking, I wouldn't do that.Anyway, he took some fresh lobster from P.E.I. with some ice . By the time he arrive to Ottawa, all the lobster's legs couldn't move anymore and so did his legs (after 10 hours driving). Anyway, he was a funny guy and I still remember once he was my room mate and a girl made a phone call to him and ask for something while he was away to P.E.I. I still remember what the girl said to me on the phone, she said : Hello,Is Floyd(my friend's name) there? I said : he's not here ? She goes " but I can Angela !" And reply : "still not here".She goes :"oh, he is not here, so, he's not here, oh, he's not here....(she talk like that on the phone for 30 seconds and I wonder what's wrong with this girl?) ,then she said "Where is he now?" I said : "he is in P.E.I. now.".Then she asked "What is P.E.I.? I reply : "P.E.I. is an island !" that's the end of our conversation and I laughed after she hanged up the phone. She wasn't even my friend's girl friend. I think she just want to ask my friend about some home work issue at that time. But it was a funny conversation for me at that time.Well, I wash we can enjoy different places in Canada.Happy mylot.

I haven't been to Canada in a long time. My girlfriend and I went to Ontario Place and had a great time. I also used to go to Ontario a lot. I like Canada because the places I used to go to were very clean. I can't wait to go back to visit some day, perhaps the casinos because I have a lot of Canadian money.

I live in Canada and it is my home of choice.I was born in Romania, emigrated to Israel, lived for a few months in Greece, then finally arrived in Canada. For some strange reason it felt like home.Yes the winters are cold, and a bit too long, but it is beautiful and the people are great.

I have been Toronto for about 10 or 15 year ago. I was pretty young at that time. It is really nice place to live with. The climate is not actually that cold. Even it is cold, it is not moisture compared with tropic countries. Dried and cool is just fine. I also had a trip in Canada in few years ago in British Columbia. The view of glaciers is just that beautiful and so tranquil to peace my mind.

I haven't been to Canada in a long time. I used to live in Detroit and we used to go there when I was really young. My family is from there. But, it does get really cold, like you said. But, it's very nice when it's not snowing really hard or on days where it's not so cold. My nephew lives in BC in a very small town. It sounds like a nice place to raise a kid.

I don't have one yet! I've never been to Canada but have always wanted to go. I sure do have a lot of traveling planned when I retire! I'm with you though, the snow and cold would get old. I'd have to visit in the summer!!

I've actually never been to Canada. I want to go though. I live in Minnesota, so I'm right below Ontario/Manitoba. I want to check out Winnipeg and Toronto some day! I'm probably only about 5 hours away from Thunder Bay, which I think is in Canada...or right by the border. Anyway you reminded me that I need to add that to my bucket list! LOL!
