Men with pierced ears - are they cool?

Do you find men wearing an earring cool? Do you think it is proper for men to wear an earring on one side of their ear? What could be their reason why they want an earring? Could it be peer pressure, or just for style? For you, do they look handsome wearing an earring?

Perhaps I am a traditional person. I don't like men who are with pierced ears, have long hair or wear jewelry. A man should look like a man. So I don't think a man who is with pierced ears looks cool.

Well, that is your opinion. There are so many men nowadays who have their ear pierced, have long hair and other stuffs that women do. But then, it's still their choice. Thank you for responding. :)

I'm curious how jewellery or longer hair make a man not look like a man.
my husband wears a lot of jewellery (more than I do) has at some times in our relationship had longer hair than me. I often had my hair quite short, and he's always preferred his longer.
but there's no doubt he's a man. he looks like a man because of his features, his height and build, and the general fact that he's a man. the hair and jewellery don't make him look any less like a man.

Galena. It doesn't. It just depends on the guy if he wants to get pierced or not and it's just really his choice. Whatever choice he makes, it doesn't make him less like a man.

Well I don't really have a say on that. That's why I was asking everyone's opinion about that. I guess it's okay if they would put one or not. It's their choice and it's their life anyway. Thank you for responding. :)

I don't mind when I see a guy with one small stud in their ears, but the ones who go with big gaudy stuff (to me) just doesn't look as cool as they think it does. I don't know if it's true anymore, but back in the 1970's they used to say a guy with one stud in the left ear was heterosexual, a guy with one in the right ear liked guys, and both ears signified they were 'bi'. Times change though, so I don't know if that is true anymore. I think it's more personal preference more than peer pressure. Personally, I prefer my guys without ear piercings, but to each their own way is ok too.

Each looks different, but growing upespecially in the younger years, of course, I really did like guys with pierced ears, but only to some level. I don't love when they have both ears pierced. And I don't like when thye have those thick bolt looking pierces in their nostrils or even a really thick painful looking one in an an ear.
But otherwise, I like it, it lets them be expressionate like us (females), and studs look attracive to me. :o)

Basically, it's really their own free will to choose. They have the option to put one or not. Whether they opt to get pierced or not, the reason lies on them. Thank you for responding. :)

I really don't like men with pierced ears. I think if they are young I can understand why they were these type of accessories, but I don't think it's suited to older men. I think they use earrings because it's their style, but I'm not a big fan of that style.

Some men with pierced ears look good while others, maybe not so much. But it still depends on their style. They are the ones who will decide if they want to get pierced or not. Thank you for responding. :)

It's definitely a personal choice and I think it's more about expressing their own style than anything else. I don't mind an earring but I am not real crazy about the gauge look. That's where they put the big plate things in their earlobes and makes the hole really big. Have you ever seen that?

I am perfectly fine with men with pierced ears. I mean I don't really have anything to say. With it or without it they are fine. I think they get pierced coz they want to.
