I want to know how many here have used protection recently? Did you do it for you and your family and others in the neighborhood? Or did you do it as it's now the law? I am talking about protection from lead paint chips etc from your home. In the process of my window replacement they taped plastic sheeting over all windows for protection keeping the lead paint dust/chips from entring thew home if there is any. Here's a photo of my living room window protected. So do you use protection? Hee hee. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I have not done none of that and neither has my landlord. In fact as long as he gets the monthly rent check, that is all he protects. This is an excellent idea as that way all and or anything in the home will not get damaged. Sounds like you have a couple of professionals working there. Best of luck with it all as the end results will be not only comforting but well worth it.

Thanks. They are done and discussions have been posted today with photos etc from me. They wrapped all windows insid the house. No dust at all inside the home even with all the work done. Now the yard was a different story. HAHAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

we hear about lead paint and houses, but I've never had a problem with this house... it was kind of like being built just BEFORE aluminum wiring and after lead paint!

It was banned in 1978 "lead has been banned in household paint since 1978," from Wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead_paint and that's about when my house was built and the dangerous aluminum wiring was mostly done in the early 1970's and the safe (er) was started being used in the 1980's... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminum_wire

About the only protection I use these days is hand washing! But I think protection from lead and asbestos, etc, is a really good idea!

No, we don't use that here. I don't know where to buy that. I think that's a nice protection for the windows.
