Have you tried drinking slimming coffee?

Recently I've been drinking slimming coffee (either leisure 18 or 7 day brazilian) and so far I've seen positive results. I lost more than 10 pounds and I don't eat as much anymore. The side effects that I experienced are dry mouth and frequent thirst. I know that these are known side effects of these coffee (according to many forums it is natural to feel those things when drinking these coffee). My friend, the one who suggested these coffee to me, has stopped drinking the coffee because she got headache. I am wondering whether there's anybody here who has tried the same coffee brands and experienced something negative (other than dry mouth and thirstiness)? Please share your experiences.

I never heard of it. So what exactly is it doing? Sounds like extracting fluids from your body. That would be explain the dry mouth and frequent thirst but also the headaches. The only thing you can do about that is thrinking water before the coffee and afterwards. Cramps can be caused by a lack of fluid also, so this can be one of the side effects as well.

I just searched for it on the net in my country. They say there are no side effect but I also noticed there are many different kinds of. One they call the best is coffee from Kenia, there is written a list of cases you are not allowed to drink it (includes diseases but also allergies for some kind of good) they also say you have to drink at leat 2 liters of water. Which will surely not be enough if that coffee is extracting so much water out of your body you have a dry mouth, feel thirsty whole time. BTW what I did not see as disease not to use this coffee is the illnes of Sjögren, but heartdiseases was included too. I would really like to know the kind of coffee you use. Can you add a link? Thanks a lot.

Hi Kitty! I find it hard to cut and paste a link to my posts because I have not used myLot long enough to grant me that privilege. So I uploaded pictures of them in my photos.

I do not get the headaches. I just get very thirsty and sometimes it is troublesome because I need to speak all the time in my work. One of my friends tried it and said that she was not able to sleep well. I hardly notice if it has this effect on me because I am not really an early sleeper even before I tried these coffee.

Oh yah! Ive heard of that! I never drink coffee though! My officemates raved on that and they all lost weight! I asked for an alternative that i can drink and i was offered Leisure Orange Juice. I was so excited to loose weight such that i even bought 10 boxes! The effects... i had difficulty sleeping, i had been thirsty, and since i had insomnia, i got pimples... I can give you the remaining 9 boxes at a lower price if you want...

By the way, they say that there are a lot of fake products. I used to buy in Cubao then I saw a store at Market2x which is nearer my place. Since I am losing weight, I continue buying at Market2x. Honestly, I do not know if the one I'm taking is fake since I see a lot of different versions of the carton in the Internet. The one I bought at Cubao has a different packaging from the ones I buy at Market2x.

I am not familiar with that kind of coffee.I would love to try that because it sounds promising, but I think the side effects are pretty scary, don't you think? How long have you been using that, and from what country did it come from?

If my memory serves me right, I've already consumed 5 boxes of Leisure 18, 1 box of Leisure Orange Juice and 2 boxes of 7 Day Brazilian. I think I started last June. I am not doing any special diet right now. I eat anything served to me. I still eat meat. However, the portions have decreased because I don't have appetite. I used to take morning and afternoon snacks because I'd feel hungry at work. Now I can do without them or I only take them when somebody offers them for free, ehehehe. They are made in Hongkong.

hi:) I tried the slimming tea so I guess it's same as that, but I stopped drinking it because I don't like having stomach ache after drinking that and it's not advisable for someone who needs to go out everyday because the side effects is LBM.

Oh, I've tried those kind of tea too but I did not like the LBM part because it was very inconvenient for working people like me. The coffee I'm taking now does not have that LBM effect.

My mom tried a slimming coffee called "Body Beauty". It comes in an orange box with a woman on white tube and shorts holding a tape measure. She did have positive results with this coffee. Just like you, her appetite went down and felt the need to drink more often. However, this only worked for her for three to four months. After that, her eating habits went back and so is the weight she had lost. I guess her body had already managed to 'counter attack' the effects of the slimming coffee.

So far, I have stopped losing weight but was able to maintain the ones I lost by continuing drinking the coffee. Perhaps, the reason why I am no longer losing weight is because I do not really go on a diet. I eat whatever I want but in smaller quantities now because I do not have much appetite.

I personally haven't tried it yet but my cousin did. I would say that it is not as effective as what you may hear or what the label states. Those are pure overstatement. Yes, it maybe true that it contains substance known to be effective in losing weight but just how much of those do you need? If ever you want to try this then you have to be disciplined and don't eat foods you're body doesn't really need. Once you got the wight you are aiming you will be amazed that it's not because of the coffee but because of the discipline you have.

Hi! I do agree that it takes discipline and I think that's what these coffee made me achieve at some point because it has eliminated my cravings. I do take breaks in between boxes. Then when I get cravings again (which happen after several days of not drinking these coffee), I'd start another box. Although I love food, I believe my food intake is not really excessive. I think my body's metabolism is rather slow. There were times when I tried dieting but the slimming part would take eons to happen. And my friends would say that I was no longer fun to be with because I didn't eat anything anymore.

I've heard of slimming tea but this is the first time I've ever encountered something about slimming coffee. I wonder what ingredient it has that makes it fit that category. Have you experienced other side effects from drinking this aside from what you mentioned?

Hi rivengodwind! I just experience dry mouth and thirst, which are natural effects according to some forums. One of my friends did not experience those but she got headache when she's in her third box. Then another friend tried it just once and said that she could hardly sleep.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with this type of weight loss & unfortunately, I don't like coffee... Does it have caffeine in it? That could be why your friend was getting the headaches. I think there's medication you can take for dry mouth, but I'm not sure on that. You might want to check with your doctor. So does the coffee actually work? Does it make you lose weight? If it does, that could be a great solution for a lot of people, since there are so many coffee drinkers out there! It would be especially good if they make it without caffeine. Good luck in your weight loss! :)
