Is there a site that someone can recommend to do photo editing, free, with online software. I recall a friend sending me to a site some time ago, but you know I can't do what I want to do. I want to merge my kids pics onto one photo. Can anyone recommend a site that I could do that on? And I would would like to be able to copy it and upload it to a local place and print them off.

try http://pixlr.com/ it is a very good online photo editor. It has so many tools and very easy to use. The service is free, and they provide other services for your image too like image sharing.

Actually the place I wanted to print them at did have the software to edit them online into a collage. Only problem is they would not let me buy them because they are their school pics after I spent the time doing everything.

This isn't a free way to edit photographs online, but it is something that you could do if you have a lot of pictures that you want to edit before you have them printed. That is to go onto Adobe's website and download a trial of either photoshop or photoshop elements and edit all of the pictures that you want to edit during the 30 days that you have access to the software. I personally own photoshop so I'm always able to edit photos and if you ever want someone to edit some photos for you in the future, feel free to get in contact with me and I'd be happy to work on your pictures for you.

I tried to make some simple photo editing using lunapic.com and it worked fine for what i needed. If you need a program to merge 2 pictures and to have some basic editing tools then you can try and download Photoscape. It`s free and it is very easy to use.

www.phixr.com. that weebsite offers free online photo editing. I never tried them yet since I'm not really good at photo editting. E ven if I am, I'll just probably use the adobe photoshop that I have.

The trouble is of course not having money for ink for my printer nor do I know how to use photoshop or the funds to purchase it.

There are alot of good ones already mentioned, but I think Piknik is now closed. Maybe one you still would like to try is piZap dot com. I love these sites myself and always looking for fun new stuff to edit photos and other things with.

I use PhotoBucket for storing photos. I believe they have a editing and all that part of the site, I never use it as I have MicroSoft Picture It 2000 that works great. But I believe Photobucket has what you are looking for. And it is free....

For merging multiple photos or images into one, I would use ImageMagick. It is an excellent online tool which I used years ago with a WebTV when I couldn't download my own software. http://www.imagemagick.org/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi If you have never used it, do not let it intimidate you. Do a search for IM tutorials, there are plenty out there.

You can try googling for online services that provide photo editing. What kind of photo editing service do you need? For retouching photos or adding colorful graphics and borders? If you're just looking for a free photo editor, you can download and try out gimp. It has the same capacity of adobe photoshop, but it's free and safe!

http://pixlr.com/ would be a good choice. By the way, if you want to merge several pics onto one pic, I think you can also do it via Microsoft Paint.. It's really basic, but I guess it would just works fine.. Or you may want to try GIMP. It's similar with Photoshop but it's free..
