games for the christmas party...

Hi my fellow mylotters! Christmas is just around the corner and parties are also lurking here and there. 3 weeks from now, our company will be having its annual Christmas party. And I am in charge of the games. Can you help me think of games that are suited for both the young and old? I want it exciting, fun and will really get almost everybody to participate.
Do you know of any new games for this occasion?

I organized a game at a party I had, the old simple pass the parcel, after a few drinks had been consumed I had a lot of little parcels wrapped up and I put some good old rock n roll music on, everyone stood in a circle ans one parcel gets passed around until the music stops then that person gets to keep the parcel, I went shopping for the things to wrap up and I bought silly little cheap things but I tell you after awhile they were all wanting one of those parcels, and they made a lot of noise, passing the parcels while sort of dancing to the music...we all enjoyed it...

pass the parcel is one of my favorite Christmas games to play. We play it at church every year for the ladies christmas party. We also do a bulb exchange where we pick a bulb and the people after you get to "steal" yours if they liked it better.

I will say that I have a friend that has friends round some years for new years eve party, as well as christmas time and there is always fun to be had.I went round hers a few weeks ago and I ended up playing a decider round on the wii with her son, he won, lets just say I was done in when finished playing, or more to the point I lost.My friend has lots of games for the wii and I will say that I think that is great as there are lots of different games that you can get to play for all ages.
