Do you still make New Year's Resolutions?

New Year has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It's a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes. And so, many of us make resolutions. A New Year's resolution is a commitment that a person makes to one or more lasting personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit. It is generally a goal someone sets out to accomplish in the coming year. I am not that good when it comes to doing my resolutions but I do my very best.

I have actually never done it before but this year I am going to make one! I want to work on becoming a more positive person instead of negative all the time. I am also going back to school and I want to commit to not giving up and sticking with it! =) Wish me luck...lol

Yes. I still make a New Years resolution. It is usually the exact same one and I have not reached my goal yet.

I make the resolutions to break them. In fact I think I am making all kinds of resolutions throughout the year and breaking them regularly.

hi dear dolce_vita I am downright lousy when it comes to resolutions so I dont really make any,in the form of I will do so and so in 2012 now. The only things I have in my mind is I will try to play catch up better with the mountain of clothes to be ironed. My husband is the homemaker but as he works in a special place for the disabled now I said to him, let me do the ironing and you do the floors please as doing the floors is not good with a herniated disc which still hurts. Other than that there are no resolutions here like I said I break them sooner than I make them so it would be too frustrating.

I stopped making resolutions a long time ago. I've figured out that if I need to change sometthing, I'm better at a spur of the moment change. It gives me less time to make up excuses.
