You see sometimes I am on the bus and an idea comes to me that I would like to write down immediately before I forget .Sometimes too a email comes in on my blackberry to say that a friend started a new discussion or responded to one of my discussion however I am unable to respond because I cannot do so from my smart phone .As a result much time get spent looking aimlessly outside when I could be writing an article. Does anyone else shares this view ?or had this experience ? Appeal: Mr/Miss mylot administrator ,could you hasten to set up a mobile site so that our production can increase Who is with me ?

You can always use a built-in notepad facility - or even email yourself - to respond or write your discussion ideas down. When you get home, you can simply copy and paste into MyLot. Most smart phones have a browser and I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to access MyLot on the Blackberry (as I can quite well on my Samsung Galaxy), except that the font size will be very small. The disadvantage of using MyLot on a phone is that text entry is less easy than on a reasonably sized keyboard. This would tend to make for less 'quality' in responses, comments and discussions. No doubt this is one of the reasons why MyLot don't consider a mobile website very high up on their priority list.

If this is the disadvantage that text entry is less easy then why social networking sites like facebook has mobile sites.

Because they don't exist to encourage good quality ... very far from it!

Now this idea is something that I strongly agree too. haha... well, we used to be very busy sometimes to the extend that we cannot even open our laptops. The mobile phone is still the best way for us to be updated on our accounts may it be on facebook and other sites. now this can be a good remedy for us to be fully updated to mylot. Hoping that the administrators would also look into it and surely, the services here would be better and more users can have greater ease of access in the site. Great idea ronnyb, I myself, would want to suggest it too. Good day!:)

Hello there... I think you should be able to use myLot on your phone. I used to complain like you, before a few months. But soon I found, after a little exploring, that my phone could use myLot... I am always on myLot these days.. I have Nokia C-6 and it works wonderfully... I am typing this on my phone only... The only drawback is, I can't use my 60wpm typing speed on phone... That slows me down... But I'm happpy I can use myLot on my phone...

hey mr_pearl and ronnyb I have nokia phone too.I use mylot from Nokia's default browser or if you want better then switch to UC browser. The only thing is it shows you Full Site and you have to zoom then you can read and reply discussion. I dont have any problem using it on phone. Mylot is like forum and many of forums don't want to introduce there mobile site. because I think mylot is concerning about quality and quantity of post. :) cause they are paying users not like other websites like social networking facebook and twitter.

I tried mylot on my nokia phones several times. It worked but not as comfortably as when you browse it with a notebook or desktop pc. Probably there should be a mobile version. Have you tried Samsung Galaxy Note? It seems to me that this device will do the trick.

Yeah, It is a good idea. Maybe mylot could have a mobile application. We could use it easily and in this way mylot could improve the area of usage.

You know, on the one hand, it would be great to have a mobile app that we could use so that we would be able to access mylot at any time without using any browser charges. However, it is possible for me to respond to mylot when I really need to when I am away from home because my phone does have access to the internet and I can respond in that way. It costs money though, and I see that to be the main disadvantage.

You are absolutely right! I also think that mylot should have a mobile site. Now a days, most of the people browse internet from smartphones and android phone. So it's very important to have a mobile site.

I'm with you ronnyb! Having a mobile site will give me more opportunity to share and increase my knowledge by reading and responding to discussions in myLot more often. It would be better to have mobile site also because it is readily accessible, you can do writing wherever you may be. Whether on work, or at pary, you can sneak out and have time for some talking on myLot, plus! extra earnings! Cheers!

What are you talking about? A App or a mobile site that is supporting blackberries and other smartphones, because I can use Mylot.com easy with my iPad without any errors or something else. I think a app or a mobile site will increase the members, because many people have smartphones at the moment. I agree with your idea! :D
