I'm bored. I'm mad. I'm in great heartache. I have much in my mind. I need comfort. I don't know what to do. Whew! Felt like I'm getting crazy right now! Huhuhuhu.. I think, I want to go to a place where my mind gets to relax. But where? Where am I gonna go? Have anyone felt like this too? I want to escape this misery.. Huhuhuhu

Don't you have any friends? I would love to travel. Maybe you should move to some place you liked in magazine or that you heard about. Or even to a different part of town. A mini vacation in a motel or hotel in the opposite side of town can be very relaxing.

Sounds like you need to find older and/or more mature freinds. Mylot is a good forum for our problems.

Hi. celticeagle.. Of course I have friends but they won't understand any of my feelings.. They're so immature. I better share this with you all in mylot than them. They can't give me a good advice.

For several months that i was out of here, not responding to any discussions, not creating one at all, i was experiencing boredom. I was burnt out. I didn't know what to do at that time. I felt like my life was a routine and there was no excitement at all. So when my husband finally agreed to go on vacation to a very beautiful island, i immediately told him that we must and we must do it as soon as possible. So before the year ended, actually in December, we went there in paradise for three days and two nights. We enjoyed the sun, the emerald green water of the sea, the beautiful sunset, the powdery white sand and all the activities there. So now i feel refreshed, renewed and ready for the year 2012.

So that explains for you long absence here Toni. You were bored and burnt out. But didn't you have your full time job? That alone can truly occupy you, so that was what i was thinking why i haven't seen you here for quite sometime. Well, that nice vacation in an island resort did to gave you wonders. You are back.!

Many of us gets to feel like this from time to time, and like everything else in life, it is not permanent. We come face to face with ourselves and want to escape. The only antidote to this is to just sit and listen to our own thoughts and feelings. A form of meditation. I have helped many people over the years as a therapist. It is not comfortable at first coming face to face with the turmoil that may be going on in our minds, but after a while, we come to know ouselves better and are more comfortable with ourself. If you want to know more about mediation, I have a link to it in my profile. _Derek

Hmmm.. You must really be a great therapist. I'll try to meditate.. I'll try to do what you suggested for me to do. Thank you so much for this. I'll find myself and get to know myself by meditating. Perhaps, this would make my mind relaxed.

I normally visit places of serene beauty like a lake,a beach or a mountain to relax my mind. You do what relaxes you or gives you peace of mind.Listening to pleasant and soothing music also relaxes us when we are in such a mood.Reading spiritual and motivational reading material also helped me when i was in such a phase.Hope you have a good rest of the day.

Hi jdex! I'm sorry to hear that you're in such a bad situation. Don't you have any place where you go when you're depressed? I mean, sometimes, when I'm depressed, I go to the mall and shop. Maybe you can go to your friend's house, or your grandparent's house or somewhere to that effect. I wish you'll find that place and feel a lot better.

I believe that the best place to rest and recharge is a tropical island. I think the white sand is lovely to take a stroll along. The gently waving palm trees are charming to look at. The aquamarine sea is a joy to swim in and you might enjoy exploring the coral reef if you have a snorkeling mask. In the evening the sunset is orange and then the sky turns black. Looking into the sky at night time you will see lots of lovely silver stars in the dark sky. The Caribbean islands are a very good choice indeed. My favorite tropical place is the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. Good luck planning your relaxing trip.

Hey you need to rest my friend.. the best way to relax is to do things you like to do.. if you like to travel and meet new people go to a place where there is some crowd.. if you like to travel alone... check for a place which will be quite and surrounded by nature....if you like to have fun.. try some amusement park.. any ways .. if a break from daily routine helps to relax..

Hi jdex: yes, I have felt this same way on the past few days, specially because my favourite artists live in places far from my country. I hope someday I could travel there and enjoy my time, but I would do this as a vacation to enjoy, not for working. ALVARO

They say the sight and sound of a body of water calms the mind and the spirit. Since you are in Cebu, lucky for you... There are many beaches and waterfalls to choose from. A weekend at the beach may lift your spirits and take away your depression. They say one of the nicest beaches in the Philippines is in Bantayan Island. You should go and try it.

OMG I am feeling the same way. I've been feeling like this for the past year. I promised myself to have more fun this year. I've been putting off a cruise for sometime now. There were several reasons the trip requires two and I don't know who to take. Then there was life having to deal with circumstances. I'm optimistic with the dawn of a new year and eager to explore the world. Time will tell. Misery is a state of mind! When life seems dull and you lack inspiration find a cure. I know there is something that makes you happy even if it's short term.
