Is there a way to see the number of an unknown number calling?

It depends on which country are you from, if you are from the US, the service provider has various settings and you can absolutely block unknown callers, but for other countries, I am not sure.

If you don't want to be bothered by unknown calls, set your phone to accept only phonebook contacts. Some cellphone brands have this features. i also got unknown calls and I don't pick it up. Some of your friends might like doing it just for fun, some others perhaps try to cheat by hiding the number. Don't worry about it. Happy mylotting.

Over here there is not if the person who's number it is blocked it. I don't answer unknown numbers anymore. Mostly they are from people who have something to complain or to sell. I don't want to waste my time on that anymore. If it's someone I do know and urgent they can better text me.

If I were you, I'd contact my service provider. If they can't block the calls, maybe they can tell you how to do it on your phone. Otherwise, I'd answer one of the calls and probably tell them what I thought about them calling with an unknown number. I don't know if you can get the number that way or not, but you might get the calls stopped.

Well....I don't know if you have a smartphone or not. That does matter. However, if you DO have a smartphone and can download apps there is a app called Mr. Number. It will enable you to block private and unknown numbers. I use it myself.

It depends on the phone you have. If you have a Java or a Symbian powered phone, I think they have built in call block features.
For an android device, you can download softwares like Blakclist Pro or Mr. Number Blocker. They are extremely useful in blocking unwanted calls.
