I think farming is cool. especially if the land is yours. We also have farm in our place, my family owned it, but i myself doesn't do the farming. We have other people to do it. But one thing for sure is that, someday, i will try to do farming. And see how do they do it.

I live in the us state of Idaho and we have alot of farmers. I was brought up at my grandparent's and they had a small farm like place. They had chickens and a big garden. Now days it is really the way to go. We had vegetables in the garden and then all kind of fruit such as raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, prunes, apricots, rhubarb, pie cherries, and black caps.

Only when I retire, which I plan to in the next 32 or so years... I want a bison farm, raise bison... Sell them to butchers, grow my own veggies, have a few other live stock... Lots of hard work but a slow paced life for the old and retired. A nice home on a hill surrounded by open fields and rolling lands in the praries would be nice. Smell of the country air minus the stench of manure.

Did that been there. Had some farmer friends. Some really good people. What is a farmer though? Answer that question because I think it is not the same for everyone and not what everyone thinks of when you say farmer.
