I haven't been able to find anything definite either way as to the future of Terra Nova. I, for one, liked it pretty much from the start and think it got better as it went along. I am disappointed that they killed off Lt. Alicia "Wash" Washington(played by Simone Kessell). I think her character could have become a much bigger part of the show. They left the show with the big mystery of the bad lands which gives many directions that things can go. I might prefer a different place in the week for it to air but I could live with Monday where it was if necessary.

I love it, too. I was heart breaking sorry for both Josh and the Commander, such losses! I really hope the show on. But knowing Fox I doubt it. That network seems to just eat good shows. I read that they say "it's very expensive." For my opinion, the truth is that it's very liberally politically oriented and they didn't know what they were buying.

Fox has to decide on both Terra Nova and Fringe. Terra Nova is rather expensive to produce and so could be in jeopardy. Wash's character was not really pivotal to the show. I would have to wonder if the show continues and they kill off more characters in ways to cut costs not so much as to have plot lines.

There has not been a confirmation on its fate yet. It might not be until May that they say for sure.

I think it's going to be a tough decision for FOX given that Terra Nova is not the cheapest show to produce and wasn't an incredible ratings hit. I, too, would like to see it come back...I found it to be generally an entertaining and watchable show. Sometimes it tried too hard to be cutesy and family-friendly, but it didn't have problems so serious that they couldn't be fixed IMO. I was also sorry to see Wash die, albeit as a sacrificing hero -- TN could have used another character with some edge. At this point, I wonder if Terra Nova's future depends on how well the new FOX dramas Alcatraz and Touch do. Frankly, both of those shows look like they might be (deserved) hits so I hope TN doesn't need either or both of them to fail!
