Do you wear contact, if you do, why...is there an advantage to wear them for you... I have worned reading glasses for a few years but I don;t really need glasses for distance...Do they have contact for just reading and are they worth using...that seem like it would be alot of work, in and out for reading... What do you think???

Today I write, wearing a nose last purchase eyeglasses. It was a whole adventure of their choice - the frame, that there was problem, since the technical details of lenses they have given way too many choices. In the first phase - are still there - I tried to familiarize myself with the idea of glasses. I tried many, many pairs and, although I could say that I feel that I made ??the right choice or glasses that I have chosen me made ??me fall in love with her ??and can not give up wearing their I suppose that habit will be held and will say, while the word. True, the world sees a little different with glasses, has brighter colors, clearer, refreshed but still, this is not a sufficient argument to me to always wear them. Not yet!

No i don't need it because my eyes is perfect till now just because of god .. Contact is better then glasses in every way but like near or distance but you have to care about it because some time its dangers for eyes like our teacher said never ever sleep with you contact lens ...If you.. have contact they use it both way that's real benefits of contact ..some people feel its irritating but mostly people used as fashion because now days its contact fashion ... As your question you don't need any contact for just reading purpose because you just need good accommodation and glasses its for it .. but still depend on your power if higher power then use it but in low power no need .. Keep LOTTING ..

I wear daily disposable contact lenses. They have a UV blocker in them so when I am in a hot country I don't often need my sunglasses. I have a pair of glasses to wear before and after I take my contact lenses out. When I first got contact lenses I was traveling in Australia. I went to see an optician in Sydney and got two week disposable contact lenses. I had to clean my contact lenses overnight in a little pot. When I came back home I used contact lenses disposable after one month. Again I had to clean those overnight in the little pot. I tried a box of daily disposable contact lenses and found I got on excellently with them. That is why I decided to get them permanently. I buy one years supply at a time. Before my days of contact lenses wearing I had a pair of ordinary prescription glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses. I prefer wearing my contact lenses to my glasses. The advantages are comfort and it being like I have perfect sight.

I don't wear contacts, nor do I wear glasses. I wear neither, because I don't need them. Last time I checked, my eyesight was fine.

Yes I am. As a kid I was not able to wear glasses because of the contact allergy it gave me. Now the glasses are made from different stuff but still I have allergies (not always caused by the glasses) so it's painfull to wear it and feel it against my face (or have it behind my wounded ears). I have some glasses with dark glass in it, to protect against the sun. Were expensive but also don't fit and they give me headaches as well. So I only wear them if my eyes are so infected that I can't wear contacts and I need to see something (for example if I drive my car.. inside the house is no problem).

Vain youth... - He (me some years ago)...should have been wearing spectacles, not sunglasses...
No, I don't wear contacts. I spent much of my young life in a fog because I was too vain to wear glasses; but I never considered contacts, because I am desperately squeamish about my eyes. I hate the thought of touching them or having anyone else touch them. These days I just wear glasses, I'm not so vain as I was, although I'd love to think that one day natural long-sightedness will cancel out my myopia!

i use contact lens when i go out. contact lenses give good feel compare to glasses while going out. using glasses will may lead to scars near roses. we may feel uncomfortable using glasses. but contact lenses will give good feel. we should not use contact lenses for a long time because it may cause some damage to our eyes. so we should use contact lens for sometimes or while going out.

I used to wear contact lens rather than my glasses but I always have my glasses in my bag especially at work, in case that my eyes git irritated or get dry. There some precautions to consider in wearing contacts which will be given by a licensed optometrist.

i have never wear any contacts in my life..i have never tried them but if i have to wear them then it is only for the sake of beauty like being able to have different eye colors..my sister used to wear glasses but then she switched to using contacts instead..it depends on you, what do you like best..if you don't want to eliminate wearing glasses..it is also kind of a hassle to take a small contact in and out all the time...so it just depends on you what you really want..also consult an eye doctor about it so they can advice you more about the advantages and disadvantages..

I have not heard they had contacts just for reading. I would have no idea how they would work w/o distorting other aspects of your vision. I haven't worn contacts in well over 10 years. I did not like the idea of putting something in my eye taking it out daily, worrying about loosing or tearing the lens and replacing them. My hubby wears extended wear ones that you don't take out but he wears them because it's uncomfortable to him to wear saftey glasses ontop of prescription ones.

Well, I have contact lenses no doubt. I have been using them for while, and the advantage of using contact lenses is that I won't feel much tiresome like I have to wear glasses all day long. I also don't feel the burden or heaviness on my eyes. So, sometimes, I would rather wear contact lenses than glasses.

i wear contact lens sometimes but not often.I wear it just on my holidays.Because i don't think it's comfortable wearing contact working with computer. The eyes will become too dried. But when it comes to have a travel or do some sports,i think contact is the better choice than reading glasses,it's more convenient.

I personally prefer glasses and I only wear them at school and when I'm on the computer. I don't like the idea of poking at my eye and trying to put my contacts on. Also, after you wear contacts for a while, you have to throw them away and buy new ones, I rather stick to my glasses that can last like 2 years or more. It's annoying having to take them out and put them back on. I have heard that if you're cooking or standing near a hot stove, your contacts can melt! My friend's mum had her contacts roll to the back of her eye and it was quite painful. So I'm pretty scared of using them.

Yes I am using contacts but only use it whenever I have to go to somewhere. I am a near sighted person so I cannot survive going out without an eyeglass or a contacts. Since were have opposite situation here, I suggest you better not. Contact lenses are a little bit particular, delicate and messy to put.Maybe you don't want to wash you hands and insert you contacts every time you have something to read. Just like me,whenever i am home, I preferred to use eyeglass. Its a less work for me, i don't need to insert it or mind if i can sleep with it and totally forget about it. Plus take note, contact lens solutions are a little expensive too with only 3 month expiration. But if you still want to try, then its you choice;)Good luck!

yes i do wear contact lenses. they come as a blessing for me.you know every time i have to bear those glasses its awful. its really helpful when you have to attend party or other occasion as such .its gives you a cool look. and at-least your eyes can be seen clearly. i use color contact lenses which give me a glamour look. and i think any one of my age would hate to wear glasses all the time that gives you a matured look. i am not denying that you need manage these lenses regularly, soaking them in solution ,cleaning them etc. but still i would prefer contact than glasses.
