hi friends this is really a big question, yesterday after a long time i had gone out to have food with my roommates and what i saw, there was a lady with her five-six years son,she was allowing him to have burger and french fries...i was shocked how come a mother can give such type of stuff to her son....because at this stage if that guy is not healthy food then he will not be fit, what you eat in child age helps to stay fit when you are grown..... people who are eating burgers and pizza are getting big problems like obesity, heart diseases, high cholesterol, blood pressure and many more......so just wanna ask you, are you giving right food to your children? thank you have a great day!!!!!!!!

Pizza Pie is my favorite, and i put a lot of spicy to torture my tongue, i know it is not healthy, but after eating, i manage to do extreme exercises just my sweat to release my body so burn calories. If eating unhealthy foods and without engaging physical fitness, it is bad.

If a person or child has a slice a pizza once a month or a burger and fries the following month there really isn't any reason to be alarmed about having some junk food once in a while. You saw a child eating something that didn't sit right with you. What if that child spent the whole month eating oatmeal for breakfast, salad and fruit slices for lunch with cottage cheese or yogurt and for dinner had baked, broiled or boiled chicken with fresh market veggies and either rice, potato or some other sort of grain or noodle for dinner every day through out the month. That child deserves a treat. Something special to look forward to. It is families that don't have concerns about their children that is reason to be alarm. The eat all those greasy, fattening and unhealthy foods once or twice a day, every day. These are the people and children who will grow up with or become obese, have high blood pressure, heart disease conditions and high cholesterol. You have to know all the facts before you can judge. Eat healthy and remember treats like dessert, candy or junk food is okay if added to a healthy and balanced diet in moderation once in a while.

Yes I do give my children the correct food ot eat, we do have some junky food at the weekend and they are allowed some sweets as well because thats life they are children and need treats like this. During the week they have more than there five a day of fresh fruit and veggies. They choose three fruits each day to take to school and at tea time we have at least three different veggies and if they are still hungrey in the evening they ask for veggies and fruit because they know the answer will always be yes to those and no to cakes and sweets and biscuits. They are very good children and love it when they get there regular treats at treat times

I would like to have my grandson eating less junk but we are in the mood for such things and eat them quite often. I am trying to do better. It is hard when we all like our hamburgers and stuff.

For the most part, I do make sure that my children eat healthy food. However, there are times that I will let them have burgers and fries and things like that to eat because they like them and it isn't something that we make a habit of eating all of the time. I feel like those things are okay to eat, but only if they are eaten in moderation. It only becomes a problem when children eat those things all the time.

I know I am guilty of feeding my son unhealthy food. I have become more healthy in my ways of shopping for food, and now I make sure we always hit the produce aisle first. My son, who is 8 years old, loves to help me pick out the fruits and vegetables that we are purchasing. I've taught him how to properly pick good apples, as those are now his favorite. Finding creative ways to introduce your child to eating healthier is often a struggle when you have already taught them to eat unhealthy, but it IS very important to teach them while they are young, so they can hopefully continue healthy food choices in the future.

I believe that the balanced food is much more important. As long as you don't eat something too much all the time, any kinds of food shall be good for you. Even if you just eat steamed vegetables in your whole life, but it doesn't mean that you will have long life for sure. My colleague's grandpa is already 100. And to our surprise, his diet habit is not healthy. But he has good health anyway. Sometimes we need to take different food so that our body can adjust to it. So I will share soda water, pizza, hamburger etc. with my child. Of course meanwhile we will also eat other foods like rice, vegetables, noodles and so on. Eating is an enjoyable thing in our life. I don't want to be worried about it so much. I love China

hi ritzz do not judge so quickly as this might be a special treat. We always cooked at home and fed our children healthy food but on some occasions we all had hamburgers and fries. Do not judge like that as you do not know what that mom usually feeds her child. nowhere is it wr itten in cast iron thous shat never feed your child a hamburger and fries. besides really what she was doing was' her business and probably this was an outing. More than likely she cooks all the time healthy food for her child but an occasional hamburger and fries is not going to do any damage at all. judging other does do damage if you jump o n this mom and tell her what'you think. we should none of us be diet police to utter strangers. They have a right to privacy and you have a right to keep your opinions to yourself too.I am sure that mom did know what healthy food to cook for her child and you are just judging her without any proof she is not feeding her child properly. I myself get furious when friends jump on me."You are a diabetic and you are eating that?" come on first I know I am a diabetic, second I also know what to eat and not eat as a diabetic. 3. you have no rights to tell me what to eat at all.

I don't have any children. In my own childhood, my mother gave me a balanced diet. We always had a meat and two vegetables, and milk to drink. I grew up very healthy, never missing a day of school. When I was a child, parents ruled. Today, the children rule.

Hi Ritzz, i prefer to spend some time to cook more veggies and meat at home for my son to eat. I don't really like to give or even treat him eat food that are being prepared outside of my home. Because they contained a lot of unhealthy chemicals, which is not good to our body in the long-term. In fact, whole our family seldom eat burgers or pizzas recently. We felt that healthy is more important after seeing my parents down with diabetics and it makes their life miserable. Besides that, it really saves us quite a lot of money as well.

It is hard to make our kids at home to eat vegetables, but they love eating fruits and fish. They more like to eat pork and chicken which i know is containing fats that bad for the heart that's why sometimes i'm forcing them to eat the vegetables that i cook for them. If they not eat it i will let them feel the hunger until they will eat the food. While they are young i want them to learn to eat fruits and vegetable.

hmmmm. maybe i have to imagine that i have children. feed them green leafy vegetables and follow the food pyramid. That can probably solve problems of obesity and malnutrition.
