I woke up this morning unable to move my head...

Of course the first thing I did was panic, I thought that maybe something happened to my neck. Of course it had. I found a furry white and orange blob nestled against my neck, KHUAY!!! I was so upset yesterday after talking to a "friend" that I couldn't sleep well last night, so apparently Khuay decided that to help me sleep he would curl up against my neck and hair and purr me to sleep. It's really sweet because he has only purred out loud once, and it sounded like a gasping fish eating a rusty gate. He just can't purr out loud. But he did it for me to make me feel better! Willy was curled up at my side purring just as hard, letting me know that they truly love me and that everything would be alright. Who could pass up unconditional and unselfish love like that?

I thought at first it was something serious. My hair was held down by Khuay, his head was nestled on my neck and he was trying so hard to purr pretty! As many of the MyLoter's know, Khuay is a real character and the loving side of his personality is something new. Just follow the cats discussions and you will hear about Khuay's antics on a regular basis. He's Flame Point Siamese and a cat like I've never had before.

I love cats! They can always sleep in the strangest of positions and places, and I clearly remember this morning, half asleep, when my cat was outside my room. I blinked and he was sitting in front of me, staring at me. I must have done one of those five minute doze-while blinking things. Haha, he loves to snuggle.

I keep losing Khuay, the clown. I keep tabs on all the cats so that they don't get locked in a closet or a room...Willy really loves the closet so I really keep tabs on him. I was frantic the other day, trying to find Khuay he'd been gone for hours and he wasn't in his usual spot under my water bed. I searched high and low, heart beating heavy in my chest. My cats aren't allowed outside and that is always the first thing that goes through my mind. As I'm headed towards full fledged panic I went into my work room and leaned against the 32 gallon garbage can, (I bought a clean one to use to hold the cut out teddy bears waiting to be sewn)and I happened to look down. There was Khuay, curled up in a tight little ball sound asleep! It's now one of his new favorite places to sleep. I go there first when I can't find him, and he is usually there snoozing away. In the morning it is our custom to spend about half an hour snuggling. I have Khuay on my lap and Willy is stretched out against my left thigh. It makes posting on the Lot interesting as Khuay usually lays across both my arms which makes typing very difficult. If I move him he usually goes onto the footstool. It rocks and he loves to have someone rock him on it. He gets very upset if I have something on his stool.

I hope you're feeling less upset today. Its wonderful how a cat or a dog can sense when you're sad...how just their presence near you can make you feel better. My pup is always curling up on top of me and looking at me with lovey eyes when im sad or upset or worried about something. She'll wag her tail just a bit when i look at her too. I used to have a cat that would curl up on my tummy and sleep with me when i was sad.

I'm doing better today, but I am still venting. Khuay is currently on my lap while I am doing my posting...with his head on my wrist and purring like a motor boat. Our furry friends are the best medicine as they are non judgmental, they aren't worried about material possessions, and they love unconditionally- and they won't complain if you've been eating garlic! My furry herd knows that my abdomen is off limits due to the pain I have in the area. So they settle around my body or on my lap when I'm sitting. It's so wonderful to have their love and understanding. Hug your pup for us.

Awe, what a sweet kitty. My cat doesn't purr very loud when I'm sleeping, but it sounds more like snoring! And it's loud, so loud it keeps me awake, ha.

Poor Khuay, he made such a horrible noise that I thought he was in physical distress...then I found out that he was purring out loud. I had to work hard not to laugh at him and hurt his feelings. He is such a quiet cat, he doesn't meow much (he limits himself to a maximum of 5 meows a day) and he purrs so quietly that you have to feel either under his chin or under his arm to see if he's actually purring. What is really funny is that I have Khuay's brother, Willy, and he will screw up his face like he just sucked a lemon before he meows. It's so funny to watch! If it's really important his face is screwed up like a prune, then he lets the meow rip. It's good and loud too! What a pair of opposites! Willy actually snores! I don't need to get married as Willy snores and steals the blankets just like a husband!
