Make up, for attraction or destruction?

I don't usually wear make up. I only wear during work and during parties. Since I have learned that some flush, lipsticks, mascara and the like have lead content which would gradually damage the skin. My friends, how do you know about this? Do you have any idea?

I always use make up when i go to work,shopping,or go to party.I use make up with waterproof coz i have type dry skin.So its good to me.I think u should choice which make up thats suitable to ur skin.Good luck

I don't use make up often because it wouldn't be appropriate and it's too much work for the places I usually go to. I would just do brows and a little gloss and a little or light foundation for everyday for work and would wash my face by noon.
I think what you meant were the make up sold on the yester-years. They have stopped allowing make-up to contain lead (unless you buy them pretty cheap). Most of the make-up these days have absolutely no lead content.

Probably, but I wear makeup any day anyway. I mean, most of the stuff I use is Revlon brand, which I know they test thoroughly. And not on animals, so that's good. I've been wearing makeup since I was 12, so almost 10 years, so I am really not worried about it...

Same as you do, I seldom use make up, when I'm wearing my white uniform I prefer wearing make up to look colorful because I will look so pale with naked face. But in just normal days and when im hanging out i prefer natural looks. yes, make ups can damage our skin, so be careful on the brand you're using..

I don't think it's for destruction. I don't believe that makeup contains harmful
contents. I just believe that those who are unknown make up brands especially
with Chinese characters are the ones that contains harmful chemicals. But big brands
which are known in the market are definitely safe.

I only do makeup on some parties or date,which makes me have more confidence.Only with some eye line or just a BB Cream. But I do makeup more when I have to take a picture. I am a little picky about pictures, cause I think it capture the moment of the past. And I honestly wish I show the best of me in pictures.

I actually did not know that some makeups contained lead content, that is something I am definately going to be checking out here soon. I wear makeup everyday. Not in any excess but I do wear it.
When I buy makeup though I do like to spend the extra dollar or 3 on the more I guess you could say organic natural makeup, with the hopes that it won't break me out as bad.
