...forgiving myself

In my personal opinion, forgiving myself is perhaps the hardest thing to do. I'm that type of person who is very hard on oneself, especially if I commit any mistake. i know that I am not a perfect person but there is always the possibility of error, but I cannot help the what -ifs and what could have beens. Over time, I seem to cope and move on. The only thing that is constant is change, a after all. I guess that everyone all have their own ups and downs in this journey of life.

Ask yourself this: was it a mistake according to you or according to others? And if so.. what is wrong with trying and finding out it did not work the way you thought it would be? Be human, forgive yourself, see it as one of those life lessons one needs to experience in life to get stronger, wiser and feel alive.

You sound like you are very hard on yourself. . Cut yourself some slack! Things in life don't always go as we expect or hope but it's not always in our control, that's the thing. When something goes wrong in life I tell myself it was meant to happen and I try to learn from it and grow from it. Happy MyLotting!

Depression is really an obstacle that is not easily beaten, and many have even failed. Life really brings and is a great challenge to everyone. I agree with your words and I, too believe that forgiving one's self is an important step towrds change and progress.
