Arsenal is on the back of big win in the London Derby against Tottenham. Liverpool have just won their first title in six years in the Carling Cup. Both the teams are still in the hunt for the fourth Champions League spot at the end of the season. Now the two teams go head to head this weekend at Anfield. So what are your predictions for this blockbuster encounter of this weekend? I like both these clubs, but like Arsenal a tiny bit more and hope they win this match to continue their progress on the EPL table. Cheers! Ram

I'm way too late to be honest. All I hope for is a good second half!

Well I got my wish! Arsenal did it! Liverpool was flat . But then again they seem to play flat when Suraez is in the line-up.

Suarez were menacing enough. It might be a different outcome if Liverpool had converted the penalty and had raised the goal post before the game.

You're right. In this game I wanted Arsenal to win; but there were other games when I wanted Liverpool to win and I did not feel they would with Suarez as striker.

I'm not very good with predicting. I'm watching the game live as I'm typing and it's still a draw with less than 2 minutes to go. I do wish Arsenal would win and secure the top 4 position. There's hope, they added 8 minutes injury time; Arsenal goalkeeper is just brilliant tonight, the own goal was just really unfortunate. Yes! RVP just made his second awesome goal!

RVP has really rocked this season. He has been the MVP for Arsenal and they would really have been nowhere without him this season. That was goal number 30 and 31 this season for Arsenal!! Cheers! Ram

I think Arsenal still miss Fabregas and Nasri and that is also the reason why they are still struggling to make 4th place their own. Had Fabregas and Nasri been in they could have been up there in the top three. Anyhow, what's done is done, so really nothing much can be done about that. Cheers! Ram

When Fabregas and Nasri left I was worried what would happen to Arsenal. RVP has certainly saved the team and well deserved the MVP.

Arsenal was very impressive in the come back win against Spurs last week. While Liverpool needed a penalty shoot out to overcome Cardiff to take the Carling Cup. Both were struggling before last week's matches but they all came out with a smile after the games. Liverpool is still not a team that can compete with the EPL top 4 teams (yes, Liverpool is NOT one of the top 4 teams). I feel that Dalglish has more work to do than Wenger because Arsenal has established a good playing system - All Wenger needs to do is to find the players to fill the positions whist Liverpool is still searching for their ways. Personally I tend to think that these kind of matches will most likely end up as drawn games but this time, I feel Arsenal may have an edge even though it is played in Anfield. I will take Arsenal to win 2-1 with RVP again on the score sheet.

Last week's performance by Arsenal raises the question why can't they play with the same determination week in and week out. I think this week will be a key one for Arsenal as to whether the performance last week is going to be the stepping stone for the rest of the season. For Liverpool I think it was important for them to win a title this season and they have done that. The fourth place is still a realistic target, but there might just be a dropping of motivation for this season as the rebuilding for the next season begins. Cheers! Ram

That RVP winning goal is simply world class! Liverpool paid for their missed chances. I wish I had bet a million bucks but really I was just being lucky
