I am thinking of lasagna

I'm not sure if this will help anyone but recently, I've started making what I consider to be 'poor man's lasagna'. I live alone so this works for me. First I cook the noodles. Then I put them in a microwave dish making my layers with bottled pasta sauce and ricotta cheese. Then I pop it in the microwave to heat it up. I am thinking you could probably try using different cheeses and you can also try using meat or veggies in the layers as long as they are cooked ahead of time and cut into small pieces. For me, this works out great because it gives me something I can eat off and on all day long. Plus since I do live alone, I don't have to answer to any food critics.

Because of your discussion, now I'm thinking of lasagna too! Ugh, I want to have lasagna now! But I'm in the middle of the night so I don't know how I can order lasagna.

I have not tasted lasagna till now but only yesterday, an expert cook / teacher demonstrated the original Italian recipe for this on television.She made it so beautifully with all the accompaniments and cheese with spinach too--she said it s original. I do not know if you would agree . I do not have cheese but the final dish looked just fantastic.

This sounds super good. Too bad lasagna seems to take SO long to prepare - at least when I make it - I need about 2 hours to prepare & cook lasagna - at least with veggie lasagna that is. But it does really sound good! Maybe you can just buy a frozen one and cook it. . Happy MyLotting!

Yum yum, you are making my mouth water.I love me some lasagna. Made one the other day but I didn't put enough sauce to the bottom of the dish and it was burnt to the bottom. But it tasted good otherwise. I used corn,minced turkey meat,tomato sauce,mozarella cheese,peas,mushrooms, might sound like alot for one lasagna but aside from the burnt bottom it tasted good and it was quite healthy. Didn't have all that oil that normally "accompanies" a lasagna and that's because of the mozarella chesse. It's a very healthy cheese.
