Color Jeans

Lately I've seen more and more jeans in colors. I don't recall seeing these since I was in grade school. Though of course I thought it was cool, then but who wouldn't when you are like 10. I've seen them in numerous colors come thru my lane. Though I will say as live rolls on one realizes it would probably be wiser to just stick with tradiational jean colored washes, white, or black jeans. Will you be sporting the bright colored jeans this year or stick with classic colors that will always be in style?

LOL! There was a time when everyone used to sport colored jeans and think so cool about it as you mentioned. For me, I never felt coll about it at all. I always thought these bright colors make us look like fancy dress competitors in the school. Sometimes, it makes people look like buffoons. I will always stick on to the traditional blue(light or dark), black and rarely white. Sometimes, dark green also goes well with me, i mean really dark, which I wear only if I get an appropriate top to wear on that. Or a kurti will do for this colored jeans.

I agree maybe one pair but not the whole wardrobe. How long could a person possibly wear a pair of neon pink jeans and not look out of style? Traditional colors are best.

That's right! Traditional colors are always the best. They never go out of fashion at all! :)

I tend to lean toward my old traditional colors, and the days that they were called BLUE jeans and the most popular manufacturer's like GWG and Levi! BUT, if I dig deep enough in my closet, I do know that I will find many shades of greens, khaki's, browns...a pair or two of red, Yellow and..????? This wouldn't be SO, if I were a bit more diligent, in cleaning out FADS, but in some items, it seems if I keep them long enough...they're back in style...and I don't have to re-invest...sometimes just a little tweeking, and I am back in VOGUE..LOL!

There's no time like the present to clean out that closet and if the colored jeans are back in style perhaps you could e-bay them or the alike if they are in good shape still ;0) Or like you said wear them til they were out of style again *lol*

I have never worn these, except for like you said, as a kid. There are a lot of skinny jeans out there of all different colors - some people are really into them. I've seen them in bright yellow, bright purple, bright red, and so on! Basically all colors of the rainbow! I couldn't pull this look off. Too bright for me. I'll stick to my dark denim straight-leg jeans, thank you. . Happy MyLotting!

I personally prefer the old blue jeans and maybe sometimes in black. But, the fashion trends have changed this season. People have been wearing jeans that are red, green and even yellow in color. There are many hollywood as well bollywood celebrities that have been recently spotted wearing such colors. The only benefit i think is that they are eye catching and maybe comfortable in the hot summers..

I must point out first that the dress is certainly not my strong point. However happily answer to this question, as in the fashion I have an eye on just for blue jeans. The main color is always blue. Lately are seen in department stores of clothing, jeans of any color. However, I would stay loyal to blue. The only change I would like to have a couple of color "rust" (not sure if they still exist!).

Classic colors never gonna go out of style, and I usually buy them, because they are more practical (they don't get dirty that easily and you can wear them with almost anything). I have an aversion to brightly colored jeans (which is weird, because in other clothes, I tend to wear color, too), I'd never wear one myself, it's just not my style. Taupe-ish, greyish pastels I may wear, and I have a mauvy purple one. So I'm not against color, but I couldn't imagine myself wearing a bright orange or green pair of jeans.

I have had burgundy jeans back in middle school because we had to wear burgundy and white at school, but I mostly only like blue and black jeans.

while i like them, i probably would not buy a pair because they would only be in style for a year and then not in any more, so to me, it would be a waste of money that i really don't have.

I have seen these jeans before at Ross' when I went. I felt like it was something out of style to be honest. Though I suppose more people are wearing them, I've not seen them being worn out anywhere. I much rather stick with black, or various shades of blue jeans. I may wear white jeans but prefer not to as I worry about dirt and bodily fluids.

I love colored jeans! I'm so happy that they're in right now! I've bought a couple of pairs. I don't really like super bright colors, I prefer pastel tones. I wear blue and black jeans most of the times, but switching it up is nice. Colored jeans are hard to pair with something other than a white tee though.

I tend to stick closer to the classic blue, but in fact if I find a pair I absolutely adore in another color and the price is right I would buy them too. I have no clue on whats hot or not, just what I like to wear and if no one else's likes it then it's their problem. I won't worry abut fashion as much as I used to.

The classic colors will always be in style but you know others like to be different and nothing wrong with that. As I get older I tend to support the classic colors but I think those other colors look better on the younger generation. I would encourage all to stick to the fashion you enjoy and feel comfortable with. This is a good topic because it is funny how fashion use to be and it seems to be a circle where it comes back around. Laughing out loud!!

I am more comfortable in dresses and skirts (because they're comfirtable, not because they're fminine!), so I don't own a pair of jeans. However, I have an interesting story about coloured jeans. My mother used to work in an after-school-care program in a school, funded by our local YMCA. Anyway, as part of her dress code, they said she could wear and colour jeans she wanted, except BLUE ONES because BLUE JEANS were traditionally associated with dressing down. HOW CRAZY IS THAT?

I know. Colored jeans are in now. I only read a couple of magazines, but even in those different color jeans are everywhere. I prefer the traditional color of jeans, and I don't think you'll see me in any pinks or reds or greens. It's just not my style.

I think i was about 13 when i thought they were cool. I had a lovely pair of turquoise ones i wore ALL the time. I also had a pair of red jean shorts. My sister had a very eye catching pair of Zebra print jeans. We both used ours for gymkhanas and 4-h show outfits. Looked pretty sharp we thought at the time. If it was in my budget I would be tempted to get a pair of turquoise ones. However since i just bought a pair of blue ones and a pair of grey ones in march they have to wear out before my budget and dresswer will allow for more to be purchased. I refuse to buy white jeans...as i swear the minute the get put on if its white its dirty asap. Plus my water turns it orange.

Oh no...no colors for me. Just the basics. Now my daughter is a different story. She has every color under the rainbow and loves them. I think they have actually become a way of self expression for her and if being blinded by color is the worst I have to face with her self expression I am probably getting off pretty good...LOL.

I wouldn't even wear the colored jeans when I was a child. I honestly think they're ridiculous. I don't think they look good, and honestly I mentally roll my eyes when I see an adult wearing them. Sure, it's a style choice, but I will happily stick to my more traditional colors.
