Me and my boyfriend would be completing 1 year on 4th April. So we both are really excited about it and I know he is planning something to make me feel special. I also want to make him feel special offcourse! So I was thinking what to do. I thought of making something that he would like and keep with him forever. Anybody has any idea as what to make for him? Is buying gift a better option? If yes then what to buy? I am really confused about what to gift him! Help!

You should do something that you do not normally do on a regular day. You can cook for him or massage him I think. You can also buy something HE likes, and not what You like for him. Try to investigate what he really wants, and buy it for him. You can also add a letter with it to make it extra sweet.

If he is into video games, I would assume that he is the type of guy that is very practical and not the sentimental guy that I assumed him to be. If this is the case, then kindly disregard my first suggestion. Guys like him I think prefer the direct to the point gifts and not with sentimental meanings. Just give him a video game, one that is the latest and he has been dreaming to have. He will be happy I assure you.

I think a gift from the heart should come out of the heart so it's made by you not bought.

It depends on what he has been known to like. You know best about that. For example, if he loves music, you could get him a CD by his favorite artist. I could go on with several other examples, but he is YOUR boyfriend and no one knows him as well as you do, except maybe his siblings and parents. So even if I gave you a list of possible presents, they might not be his preference, get what I mean? I would say something that you make would be especially romantic, but like I said before, make sure it is something that you know for sure that he prefers. I could give you a few more options if you let me know what he likes. Best of luck and Happy 'anniversary'!!!

I like to give gifts that have a certain degree of originality. Even if I buy something, I offer it in an unique fashion. I think it's very important. The one who knows what the right present could be is you because you know him. Maybe he likes watches, rings, bracelets and things like that. Maybe he likes sports, music, reading. Think of something he would like to receive, and would make him happy. I hope you get a nice gift as well.
