Do you believe in life's astrology or life's predictions?

There are people who claimed to be an astrologers, stargazers that they can predict future of an individual base on stars or their respective horoscope. I was wondering if this is true. If this is true this means that they themselves (astrologers) knew already their own future? Some people would not strive hard anymore in their lives thinking that knew they would have a good future no matter what it takes as what their stars foretell, this means that they really believe it. Good thing for those who don't believe neither good nor bad future would come to their lives because they still work to switch those would be bad future into good one and for those who would work hard to find those good future being predicted. In your point of view how do you understand this? Share your ideas... Mobhomeir here.. 033012

All serious astrologers will tell you that planetary configurations don't predict what will happen, they only tell you what influences are likely to be working in your favour and what against you. It is up to the individual to choose what they do at particular times to make the best of the situation. While there is absolutely no evidence that the very tiny effects of gravitation or anything else can have any real influence on our lives, it is certainly true that life is chock-full of opportunities and that we make, perhaps, a hundred thousand choices every day, most of them completely unconsciously. If we direct our minds to focus on a particular thing or desired goal, we are more likely to recognise the opportunities which will lead towards that goal and to reject the ones which are irrelevant or distracting. All that astrology really does is to help people to focus on particular aspects of their lives and to recognise their own strengths and weaknesses, either when an astrologer confirms what we already know to be true or when they 'explain away' things which are inconsistent with our own experience. Human psychology is a very complex thing but most humans love to see a 'pattern' in their lives. Some do this by believing in and following the principles of some kind of God or religion, others seek to find a pattern in the way that the planets move around the sun and imagine that this relates to their personal life.

I was never a 'real and legitimate' astrologer (or, at least, a believing or practising one), though it is true that I have studied the subject, mostly to see what 'real and legitimate' astrology was about and why it claimed so much for itself and also because the subject is intimately linked with the history of religion and with human psychology.

Sometimes, yes because sometimes those prediction can and do come true. Then again, it is always best to know who you are, and what is possible.

I don't really believe in this stuff. Then again I have never had my tarot cards read, my palms read, etc. I really don't want to know about the future though. I think the future should stay in the future. And beyond that I just can't say that I believe in that kind of thing anyway. I feel like some of the "predictions" are so general that anyone could feel like that applies to them. *shrugs*.

Yeah...I see. Besides, if you will know your future whether a bright one or bad one you must still have to work and find that bright future or change those bad one being predicted on you..thanks for responding my friend.. We just to work and work righteously and am sure we can not escape the right reward for us..right? Have a nice day ahead my dear.. Mobhomeir here..\ 033112

I don't really believe in this kind of thing. How could horoscopes fit a whole lot of people at one time. If you read the horoscopes in the paper for instance, there could be 200 people with the same sign, and with the same future? I am a leo, and have none of the qualities of that zodiac sign. It is amusing, but I don't put much faith in it happening.

Hello again my dear friend, hope you're always doing well. Yeah, I guess we have same thinking of this life's prediction or stargazing or life's horoscope or whatever. Only God knows right? Some said this may just be our guidance of our future, well, for me it is hard for me to understand what about it, or how do we follow it..I don't know. I would just have to work what is righteous, and follow what must be the good thing to follow and I guess rewards would be mine in the future... Thanks for responding my friend..nice day ahead.. I was not a believer in things like astrology, numerology etc.. My wife, on the other hand, really believes in these things. I have also started reading up on these things. But, mostly because I am just curious & certain events have happened that coincidentally match up with what my horoscope says about me. Having said that, I would never use astrology, numerology or any of these things as a reason to decide the way I want my life to turn out... :-)

I am not one to base the my future on astrology or think that I am destined because of it. I do know that it plays an important part in many peoples' lives though.

I don't really believe in those predictions. It's impossible for them to tell the future because only God knows our future.

hi, there are times that i believe and i dont believe in life's astrology and life's prediction, because they are only guides that can possible happen and not possible happen too.so we are the one our self to create our own life astrology and predictions.
