... why don't you use a prepaid debit card? I just got to thinking about this, and that would also apply to people who shy away from buying things at stores or online with a card because they are afraid of identity theft or having someone steal from their account. Prepaid debit cards can be something you get with your name that YOU put a certain amount of money on yourself and reload at your leisure - OR you can just purchase the ones at the store that don't have any personal identifying information on them and use them, and I think those can be reloaded as well. Just a thought - since you can't shop online with cash and you need a bank account to use paypal.

i prefer cash than debit cards. credit cards are good to use for emergency but i don't think i would be bothered to use debit cards because it is basically too much to handle, unless i am really just a stone throws away from the reloading station. but then, it is just not as simple as cash because not many establishments accepts debit cards in the Philippines.

hi mommyboo Bank of A really did a nasty on me. without explainin why or even explaining they changed my debit card I have had reinstated from them whenever its expired for years now they make it only an atm card so I did not know this and was giving it to rite-aide for a purchase and it kept getting refuse. my friend had to lend me money to pay for the purchase. so I am to see my local bank to see about betting a debit card that makes purchases so I can shop on line when I need to. the places I shop have that card down so wish they could just change it to a debit card that makes purchases .I have been their customer for years and thats no way to treat a customer.I like to use debit cards myself as necessary also cash.

Because old habits really do die rather hard to be honest with you. I use my Paypal for my online purchases and use cash for in person, writing checks for bills that I get in the mail. I'm rather technological in many ways, but I am set in my ways, rather old school in many other ways, as I have my way of doing things and that is just what is going to be done. I'm not about to change the way that I make purchases, because that is just how I feel things should be done. And I will weep for the day where actual cash money gets phased out. Hopefully it will not be done in my life time. Plus it is one thing too many for me to keep track of and I feel that I'm able to have a better sixth sense about cash than all of those fancy cards.
