LMAO - weird (TMI) situation at work today. TMI, as in, I learned TMI of someone else (a customer) at work. I work at big dry cleaners in one of the biggest 'corporate areas' of the metropolitan area I live in. So it gets hectic, and as a matter of fact, I see a lot of WEIRD stuff. Has anyone seen the movie The Sweetest Thing? The scene with the dry cleaners? Pretty much the same thing pretty much happened at my job this afternoon. This guy comes in with a lady's skirt to drop off. It was linen. He goes Is there any chance you can get this stain out?. I told him it kind of depends on many different factors, how long the stain had been there, what material it's on, whether it has set or not, and what it is (I can tell you some things just DON'T come out, like pen ink - very hard in dry cleaning). He turned BEET RED and got all embarrassed (and told me "Well, it's kind of embarrassing"). I should have stopped there. But no, I didn't think of anything of it, until he told me "Semen". And I said... OH!. It was probably the most awkward customer service experience ever. He said "Sorry, I told you it was embarrassing". I told him it was OK but that he had to tag the item (with our dry cleaning tags) himself for... 'sanitary reasons'. In retrospect I can't decide if this is funny, gross, or weird. Or all of the above. Couldn't he just have said, I don't know?. Oh well... Any awkward situations for you at work this week?

Hey that's funny! I can't say I've had a similar experience (neither as the customer or the CSR). He must have been banging his head after he left your store for telling you the truth. And he must have been over-the-top embarassed after you made him tag the clothing item himself!
